I’ve always wanted an all stainless steel body pistol I just turned 21 and I’m debating on getting this one or a shadow system mb920 because of the price… is the 1.6 price worth it? I want it to last too
I have a question. I heard that this specific pair of boots causes ankle pains. At least thats what the reviews said about them, have you felt any pain from wearing this boots?
Thanks Mathew for such an insightful review. Very helpful. I also admire your honest disclaimer that you are not a Marine. You earned my subscription and hope this boots are holding strong. I look forward to hearing from you with great content
M9A4 enters the chat... If the M9A3 is the Enzo then the A4 must be the F8 Tributo, lol... Beretta nailed it with this one. Got mine new for $860 in 2023. Absolutely beautiful gun. Also, QVO tactical does make iwb kydex holsters for the a3 with or without light. My a4 centurion fits the a3 holster no problem. I edc appendix mine with a light.
Got one recently I have not put many rounds through it yet but so far seems great. Would like to add optics to it but no success finding a red dot mount. Anyone found one yet?
@@andresudako323 I broke down my 2 year old Kimber Eclipse Custom Target II and replaced every spring and the sear, disconnector, thumb safety and slide stop with Wilson Combat bullet proof items. The same for my Colt Gov't series 80. It was a preventative measure since I had never personally had any failures with either piece for many thousand rounds. No more MIM any more!
Hi, do you still have this “single action creep” after 2 years of use? Just bought 92X P., and it annoys me… Don’t feel it when I shoot doubles though.
Ended up selling it. The trigger being one of the reasons Never went away for me but some guys shoot more than others so everyone's milage could be different
U have 1 issue Sight post is still in mill spec, high end AK pistons wobble mildly, sticky charging handle when moving very slow even happens on a WASR or Zastava. Your selector and dust cover issue Now that's BS they need to fix that, all else is pretty much on all AKs. I have 7 of em lol
Good review! But one of the reasons I'm very attracted to Danner is because they say they will rebuild a boot when worn out like your first pair. (Restrictions of course). My question is: Why didn't you ask them to rebuild your old pair? Thanks very much!
None of my 1911 ejection ports have tooling marks like that in them, so it can't really be that common. Only 1911s I've seen that on were really low end models like ria and metro arms. Pretty bad that Kimber can't get that right. This Kimber costs more than my TRP did, and is nowhere near as cleanly done as my TRP.
Just back from the range put 300 through it from new, flawless performance with various brands ammo all 230g ball. Disappointed with the sights in indoor range lighting.
Looks incredible and sounds like a super fun gun. Thinking of picking one up as a fun range toy. Quick question, do the sights return to target quickly or do they wobble around a bit before settling? I’ve heard mixed reviews regarding the brigadier slide but overall the performance seems to be incredible!
It's beautiful and dry practice in hand feels great. I don't think the on the range performance matches the price. I overall wouldn't buy again personally. I found a good bit of wobble in the sights on shot recovery I have a Wilson 92 centurion and aside from aesthetics I prefer it to this gun by alot
@@desmondhumebrotha3522 from what I hear the Wilson's and ltts are very comparable I would recommend an ltt RDO I don't think you will ever look back on that purchase with regret
I have the same pistol and measuring the pull weight with the Lyman gauge I’m getting 6.4 lbs in double action, and 3 lbs 2 oz in single action. Very sweet indeed.
Danner, the US made models, are the best off the shelf boots you can buy. My Rainforest boots lasted two years working trail crew at the Grand Canyon. Everybody, except the guy with $600 custom made Whites, had to replace theirs two to three times a year. Maybe the only proving ground for boots harder than USMC boot camp. We had the rocks, the sand, and the miles, with the added benefit of mule piss. I bought a pair of the RATS from Danner and expect to wear them for the next decade.
I've just put down some money on a new Kimber Rapide Scorpius at my local gun store they had this one also but I just didn't like the look of that gold barrel.
I must have gotten a bad one. The trigger on mine is very gritty. My $800 springfield has a better stock trigger than this $1700 gun. Fit and finish is good but that is where it ends for me
I held one of these, very nice indeed, however I didn't have the money and I was thinking "carry" so I went 92x RDO Compact. I will get the "G" conversion kit soon. Thanks for sharing!
