Just finished this myself. One bit I haven't seen brought up was one of the times Vince was asked about similarities between himself and Mr. McMahon, he not only said none but then said something ala 'Even if other people you ask say different... Jokingly'. This to me is an insight into manipulator Vince. He knows others (and maybe the interviewers have already mentioned at this point) are contradicting the story he wants people to believe, so now he's trying to paint it in your mind that the talent that say they're one in the same are just throwing some banter about their friendship with him.
AJ had "That Match" in Paris, that response he got was epic and would be a greta way to go out. 24 years, good with his money, happy family life... not sure there is much else for him to prove. Nakamura is a funny one, I don't see what feuds are there for him at the moment, who are you taking off TV in order to put him in. Maybe a feud with LA KNight once he is done with Andrade and Hayes?
I'm betting that one of the overall deals between WWE and TNA is to let AJ sign with TNA when his WWE deal is up. AJ was a prime player in TNA's original heyday, and going back there would be a significant boost. WWE doesn't need AJ, but it could be argued that TNA does, as a TV talent, as a producer, and as a mentor.
There weren’t any new revelations in the docuseries. Bill Simmons just reused old WWE documentaries to make this with some updated interviews that didn’t say anything new.
Netflix did a great job, The Mr. McMahon documentary series is absolutely phenomenal, found out a lot of different aspects of Vince’s life and the beginning of WWE I didn’t know before.
I think ronda rousey, anderson silva, connor mcgreggor et al shows that big characters thrive in UFC. I wonder if Kurt Angle, Lashley etc would have jumped brands earlier
Aew is the lower leagues, how we know is cause you always compare aew with how good wwe is and Andrade returns to wwe after aew AEWs jade Cargill left to go to wwe cm punk left to head back to wwe and even cody came back to his home wwe
I don't feel bad for Janel Grant really because she could've walked away from all of it and before anyone says Vince used his position of power to take advantage and while yes this true she still has a choice. She could've moved out of the building got a cheaper place to live go get a job and try her best to live a normal life like the rest of us but no she wanted to live her life style and remain in her status quo. In my opinion she's no better than a prostitute she did what she did for money, there are millions of women everyday that choose not to degrade themselves to make money.
