@@freefy_ actually thats if you remove and block off the diverter valve that comes stock, you will barely hear the turbo stock, now blow off valves are another more stable option, it is not a gain to block it off but it does not hurt the turbo because theyre made to handle the pressure but it doesnt necessarily mean the turbo is working well, it just doesnt hurt the engine

It damages the turbo over time(but not much)

It's only bad for journal turbos, ball bearing turbos or the newest G-series from Garrett won't suffer from premature wear doing this, so don't worry

This sounds called reversion, its basically the boost being pushed out of a closed throttle
