I think that car might equipped with turbos / High boost so thats required for it sits at the rev limiter for a sec or two then shift gear.. Most of hogh boost car did that. The purpose i forgot

Its like you know, under a certain rpm mark there is a small stick in the piston which is hid in a small hole to have the valves be open for a shorter time to have good fuel efficiency. After usually 5000 or 6000 rpm the stick locks the valves together so they go up in the same time and make the engine receive more air More air=more power
People seriously need to stop planting the foot on vtec crossover. it doesn't make you any cooler. It's one of the gayest Honda trends around. And i love Hondas.
