So intrigued to try this on my coarse 2B/2C waves. Suffer the same as you described, with dryness after washday, but don’t find creams help to hydrate it - they tend to sit on top. Thanks for sharing your technique
This is wonderfully explained, but I am still terrified!! After decades of sticking my hair in a bun, I am finally letting it just BE, but it's never had a professional cut (just me hacking randomly to get growing out colour on my silver journey) so it's everywhere and nowhere! It's very curly but half the density it once was (stress and age is a bad combo) and I can't stick it back on if I screw up! I also find it impossible to mirror people, as it confuses my right and left. Maybe I'll try a xouple of millimetres.....😮
Why do all of you "influencers" never show how the back of your hair comes out? Is it because yall messed up? Or what? I mean, if any one does the back, they are constantly shaking their hair/head, like that's what you're gonna be doing naturally, all day long. Your haircut came out super nice from the front. But what about the back?

so were the layers created just by doing the ponytail steps? I have curly hair but as tight curls as this, could i still follow this? I rarely get my haircut as i always find the hairdresser can't cut my type of hair and i never get what i truely want. Just went to hairdressers after almost 1 yr of not cutting my hair and she didn't really listen to me and i don't like it. I was thinking of cutting some more length off myself and add abit more volume
I love this! If I didn't want to cut any length off my bottom layer could I just seperate my top layer from bottom layer and just cut the top layer or do you think it would come out looking uneven?
If anyone can advise please. I want to take length of my hair and add layers. Is it worth me doing the unicorn cut splitting my hair i two first then doing the cut in this video please?

Doing this in the morning. My hair is curly but fine and a third of your original length. Flat on top and heavy triangle bottom. Very healthy but need a refresh and shaping. I will do it on blow dried hair though to max symmetry. I go in tomorrow. Thanks for being a kickass inspiration! Big kiss. Happy Holidays. ❤
Just came across your video and I tried this cut. Wow, I really really loved how my hair came out! My hair would puff out and now my curls are more bouncy and defined! I’m so glad I saw your video and thank you for sharing.
I love this. It really works too! I noticed ManesbyMell channel had this exact technique but I honestly don't know if your video went up first or hers. That being said, yours is easier to follow because it's not as long and gets right to it. Love it big thanks! My long curly hair thanks you hehe
