There is much more to fishing than just the fish. This channel is all about short films showing what I see whilst on a typical session. No commentary. Just Views, surroundings and catches. If you like please subscribe.
Whats the bait you're using ? Is it plastics? Also what rig you using i wouldn't mind taking my little one to do some lrf fishing when i go over there in a few weeks
It's called isome. Check out the link below. I was using a splitshot rig I'm this video. I have another channel purely for my LRF fishing too. That's also linked below. LRF and HRF: youtube.com/@lrfandhrf On The Drop: onthedrop.co.uk/softs/
Thank you. Been back a couple of times since and had some really good sessions. Thanks for saying. Glad it was a decent watch. I've not fished Starcross yet but the shipwreck is on my to fish list. Don't forget to Subscribe as there will be plenty more over the winter.
No worries. I dig mine at low tide off the Imperial Recreation Ground. Or Hook Line and Tackle have them. Think you have to preorder or reserve it though?
Thanks. I'm glad the effort in editing is noticed and appreciated. I think it would get boring reeling in ten fish in a row so try and keep that for the best of the action
I use an app called Fishing Points. Does way more than just tides. If you log a catch it'll save all the data you can dream of including tide height, moon phase all the way to weather and air pressure the minute you caught
Great video mate!! Awesome fish! I love making fishing videos as well and just want to say that I really enjoy your content! Keep up the good work!! 💪💪🎣🎣
Glad you enjoyed it. This is my style of video. No waffle. Just fish along pov videos. Plenty on my other channel too youtube.com/@LRFandHRF?si=20-jhnkMs0Q-su8P
Schoolies are fun to catch - they're almost as bashful as mackerel. Nice flounder too. Lucky you were able to escape the tide. Shows how long since you've been on the estuary.
I love Bass of any size. Stunning little things. The tide looked worse than it was. If we couldn't climb out it would have just been wet feet walking back haha.
They're all just as good. There have been signs put up by the RSPB restricting access to the hole in the wall side all the way from the swimming pool to past Lympstone until new year though
Many great memories walking around there & over the tracks with my family. May have to return with the bass rods at some point too. Thanks for the upload
Managed to pick up a Tanago rod for a tenner off Temu and I rockpool with that using size 22 Drennan wide gape hooks and 1.5lb line, all works quite nicely for a bit of fun.
I used to spend most of my time hrf-ing for the big ballans, until discovering lrf. The bigger ballans dont half put up a scrap. Such great fun EDIT: My favourite lure is a keitech sexy impact for the big boys. The copies on ALI EXPRESS are actually better imo. They're just that little bit tougher which helps with the smaller wrasse nipping the tails off
Congratulations on your Zander, I’m still yet to target them but it’s pretty much the last fish left on my bucket list, living in Somerset I figure the Gloucester canal to be my closest chance, I will make the effort one day soon. Great videos and I’m glad to have stumbled across your channel. BTW I used to live in Otterton and regularly fish Budliegh, wonderful part of the world 👍
Lovely video, fitting end to a great channel, looking forward to even better things to come on the new one and this, thanks very much Dan for posting and keeping all our interests going.
Thank you Mike. Lovely for you to say. They will still be coming. Make sure you sub to the other channel for LRF and HRF Content. This channel is going to be more bait based fishing.
Thanks for the video what a wonderful finish to that channel, hope you post this on the new channel I want to see those last two Scorps again 😉😃. Can't quite decide which is my, all time, fave LRF fish, it's a close call between LS Sea Scorps and Tompots, I think, for me the Scorps just edge it as they are so delightfully ugly but, I love all the mini species. Tight lines and good luck for the Winter league, look forward to the videos, I start my effort tomorrow as well. I know where you were at the estuary spot and, It might be an idea to try spinning for Mullet as the whole area has a huge influx of the difficult wee beasties, I have seen them upto, best guesstimate, around 7 pounds.
Thanks Alan. This isn't the end of Fishing Around Budleigh. Just going to do more types of fishing again next year. I miss fly fishing, sea fishing, Bass fishing and all the rest. But think the channel would look better with LRF and HRF being separate.
Thanks Alan. I know its a big no non to even think of bait while LRF fishing. So didn't want the lines blured. LRF on the LRF channel. Fishing bait in the Fishing channel.
Muito obrigado. Fico feliz que você goste dos meus vídeos o tempo todo em Portugal. Acompanhe também meu novo canal chamado Lrf and HRF. www.youtube.com/@LRFandHRF
@@FishingAroundBudleigh It totally is. Have visited Brixham - hiked over from Broadsands once. The whole English Riviera coast is stunning. The close-up filming of your catches I particularly enjoy. We often forget to notice the little things around us. When I was a small boy I could spend hours watching an ant trail.
