Congratulations on your Zander, I’m still yet to target them but it’s pretty much the last fish left on my bucket list, living in Somerset I figure the Gloucester canal to be my closest chance, I will make the effort one day soon. Congratulations on the Ruffe and the Zander, nothing wrong with getting emotional about a catch, especially one that special to you. Have you tried the Gloucester Sharpness Canal? I believe it holds some sizeable Perch and Zander.
