Hello, I have the same exact Generator and i would like to replace the pull-start(which is plastic/broken and the cord rub on the frame ) with electric start. can you help me ?
Good luck as the parts you need are starter motor, flywheel with teeth, and hotwire a start button. All is not too difficult but you will need patience. The same company makes the generator for many brands like Generac, Harborfreight, Westinghouse, and many more 8000-9000watt brands so the parts should fit. Just browse the parts list if any brand sells the flywheel and starter motor. If you can't find the parts, look on ebay. Somebody is bound to part out a gen. Actually, I'll look. I know I have a gen flywheel laying around. I know I have a starter but I would need to test it. I don't remember if it is from this size motor or a bigger motor though...
Mine is moving 1 mm per 10 wacks. its insane and im almost destroyed every spot. I gave up after 4 hours and moving the ring only an inch or so. Now im looking for the part for a new castle nut as im probably not going to be able to reuse it
I picked up one this week for $33, Similar issue with gas system, never seen a front-tine rototiller with reverse. Would love a parts list or an owners manual, do you have one
no, I don't although another person who posted have the Sears version of it so maybe he can give u the model number and get a manual that way. BTW, I guess reverse was pretty popular as the 3 tillers I have(and uploaded) all have reverse.
This is a gorgeous tiller, I have a strikingly similar one, although not restored like this one. Still, it runs like a champ. But I don't have much detail on the year this was manufactured. What year is this one?
Thx!! Being a Briggs I don't think they say in the engine numbers. I just got it 2 years ago- customer didn't want to pay for a replacement wheel!!!!! $12 wheel later and new paint, tada!!!! Sorry, long way to say it was pretty old when I got it so I don't know the year. ps. see my video on how to open epair the tines gear box if it is leaking oil so you don't destroy the gears inside running it dry.
I recently saw another video that suggested that the three sets of numbers next to your model indicate the year of manufacture. It is that third set of numbers that show the year. The first two digits in that first set are supposed to be the year of manufacture. I can't read them in your video, but I would be interested. I'll check mine when I have a few minutes.
Hot damn,……. I was looking for a "LAZY BOY 5 CRAFTSMAN tiller. I had no luck anywhere online or on RU-vid. So, I decided to type the word, "Parmi Tool Company and this video popped up. Yours is so identical to mine in everything such as colors and frames. The only two things that are difference is, mine does not say, "Reverse!" Craftsman instead. And my engine is not Briggs & Stratton, it is an Tecumseh engine. I do not have the black knob on the top for reverse. My model number is 12037. I have the same white sticker on the left side that gives the information of brand, model number, serial number and address of Parmi Tool Company. I paid $75 dollars and it didn’t work. He didn’t mentioned that it wasn’t working and I failed to ask if working or not. I paid another $100 - $150 to have it to work, and still beats paying $500 for a brand new one. Thanks for your video. What you paid for yours and what did you had to work on to get it fix. Thank you!
I got it(and just about everything I post) free- "curb shopping". This one only had a dirty gas tank that it wasn't pulling up gas. The name Parmi intrigued me. I have the belts off in this video as I decided to fix a small sump gasket oil leak to finish it off when I got it to run again. I have other different small engine products that I haven't recorded and posted yet. I figure upload them now, some day many years from now, people will be like you and be hunting for "the mower their dad had" - this being another one of them. ps: before u pay to fix your stuff again, let me know- they are alot easier to fix than u think. *UPDATE* I just took it for a spin to till my front yard to resod it. It gave me the opportunity to use up the gas so i could put it away as I have *a few* other tillers to play with.
no- the outer ring is the "lock nut". There are 3 pieces - outer ring, rubber seal ring, and plate(that olds the shaft seal). Right hand threads. Did u see my full "how to" video to rebuild the gearbox??

Sorry, didn't measure it. I had mine tilted back and poured in the oil before closing it up. There is a plug on the front of the gear box. Mine is stuck on. I assume use that as your "full" marker.
Actually, they are original. I guess you could dip them in Plasti Dip but that stuff sucks. If you really want to, get something like Smooth-On that won't easily come off like PlatiDip.
Do you stay in the dallas ft worth area. I have a rusted wisconsin robin snapper i would be willing to give to you for restoration. I have too many if them and just wanted to give to someone who would restore it and take care of it because its still a good mower, it just has some rust issues.
Thanks. I have a thing for old stuff that looks good thus my projects. It was naturally seized so I was happy I was even able to remove the stuck piston. Thank Goodness the last owner left it at TDC so the serious corrosion\pitting was above where the piston rings would contact. There were some small pitting further down but I figured He11, why not try it!?!? and amazingly it runs and doesn't burn oil!!! I guess I could bore the cyl larger to remove the pits but it runs so....
Hey man, can you send me pictures of your wiring on the outside and inside if you have any. Im currently working on the same generator and have most of it worked out but the previous owners dog got to the wiring on the outside and i need a more colorful reference vs a wiring diagram.

If you are manually rewiring your panel (like I did with the Powerhorse 13000 gen-I found it with the whole panel missing) then just use the diagram as a reference. I rewired the 13K running a new sets of wires for each 240v, and 3-120v circuits. Having 3 seperate circuits means each circuit can handle more amps. Don't forget the breakers...
I just picked up another one except it has a Briggs Quantum motor. Also, take a look at this 80's Honda video. Don't know why they left it at the curb as it started fine. Same thing, people in my area toss out alot of good stuff.
hello i have one off theese too but it has no spark. everything was looking clean and icnitioncoil measured good but how can i set the air gap and are there any parts from other models because finding parts for this one seems pretty hard and expensive. My plan was to replace the condenser, which is still in the mail hopefully i will get spark
I don't know the "proper" way to set the gap but this is what I did to set mine: - I put a piece of duct tape on the flywheel magnet and turned the flywheel with the magnet at the coil. -with the coil moved as far forward toward the engine shaft, I tightened the coil screws tight but loose enough a tap would move the coil. I then installed the cover tapping the cover so that the cover screw holes lined up. -Remove cover and remove the duct tape, put the cover on and turn the shaft listening for any parts hitting ubbing. Redo if rubbing and when done, tighten the ignition coil screws. Test the capacitor - look up a video on how to test a capacitor(which is what a "condenser" is)

It's a Tecumseh, exhaust goes down under the deck. Snapper sold mowers with this motor also. I know - no recoil. It is the same wrap pull cord like my 50's chainsaw. I even had a 60's Tecumseh and it had a recoil. Maybe because this one has electric start?!?!?
Yeah, I just fixed the Stihl BR600 I bought with this one so I will look into this one now. I know it did sound lean. The Stihl needed more attention... This was the second run after acquisition and replacing the primer. Amazing $475 blowers are out there for $10. Keep this or the BR600 Choices Choices.. PS. took a look- adjusted mix screw.
That 755 must pretty old, it's got the old top mounted heavy duty air filter! Nice find man! I don't understand why they don't make the 755 with that type of air filter anymore?🤔

My Pajero iO ticks intermittently, gives around 8.5 km/litres fuel economy (which is poor) and the hydrocarbon reading is high/borderline fail for the Shaken (MoT). Disconnecting a small rubber hose to the fuel injector unit can bring down the reading sufficiently to scrape by the biennial inspection. Providing you rev it up just before they stick the probe up the car's exhaust. The alternative is to scrap and replace. Cars like this go for a song at auction here in Japan. One more thing , i was looking at one carb on ebay to buy it and then i questioned myself is the new carb working the same way as the old one because there are two connectors one for the fuel line and the other an overflow like on the old tk ? Because im normally working with chainsaws and the carb is getting the pressure for the membrane a bit different. Thx
Are u asking if u need the second hose to the tank? Adding this did a lot for me - i can trim upside down\on side\etc. Without it like on my FS65, the engine drops when I tilt it to edge sidewalks before I upgraded it to 2 hose carb. Plus the carb 2nd port either needs to be connected to a 2nd hose or plugged if u don't want to drill. Is that what u r asking???
The choke is on the air filter housing. I left it off in the video as i took pics as i did the repair. You can use the housing off Echo or Stihl products - both fit.
