Wado! Wado! WADO! Thank you to ALL OF YOU for creating this. I have been searching for and sharing every Tsalagi story I can find for years. This story never appeared to me until today. It is so important that we share our ancestral stories. Otsaliheliga! 💖

Chunkey was played into the 19th century by tribal Indians and by all written accounts was played on an approx. 100 ft length bare dirt (or sand) court and the Chunkey sticks were thrown underhand, while the stone was rolling, to land and slide along-side of the Chunkey stone and come to rest at the same distance as the stone to win the possessions being wagered ... I'm not sure what game these people are playing,

This is the First people of North America not the whites with blue eye and brown eyes claiming to be First Nations. My family is from Nova Scotia and she sounds and looks like my grandfather. My grandfather told me that his mother was Cherokee. I believe what my grandfather told me. If your grandparent's are still living, you need to talk to them, they know who they are! I have researched both sides of my family going back to 1700's either were born in Nova Scotia or New Brunswick never said anything about being slaves. As Cheif warhorse say's', "there were two ships."

It's like the same with Chinese and pinyin. It's an idea of the sound. Maybe you should learn both character shapes like in chinese. It's very interesting. I try to start learning Cherokee but it's the hardest language I know, even Navajo is easyer. The lessons with Wade are great but for a first lesson it's hard. He teaches like it was for polyglot specialists or teachers. Me I know what to learn and how, but I think it's a little bit hard without learning the characters in the beginning first especially for everyone... I tried on Mango to learn Cherokee but they are 2 chapters and no characters learning. Thank you for your work of preservation. Keep going. Don't give up.

ᏩᏙ for ᎯᎠ video. I'm a ᏣᎳᎩ descendant and I've been trying to learn and speak in it by myself for over two years now. I've even been going out of my way to teaching my baby sister the syllabary and other words that I know from the top of my head though my ᏣᎳᎩ isn't perfect and my mom's interested in learning it too, not to mention I made ᎢᎦᏛ ᏣᎳᎩ cards to teach myself and my baby sister what the words are and they what mean and even got her ᏣᎳᎩ blocks at ᏌᏊ point. The story of my great grandma or my great great grandma's ability to speak in it until the racist ᎠᏂᏍᎦᏯ came along and robbed it away from her until her verbal ᏣᎳᎩ became absent is what inspired me to want to learn the ᏣᎳᎩ language to begin with, but unfortunately this was at the wrong place, at the wrong time, especially with the wrong ᎠᏏᏴᏫ. To make ᎯᎠ long story short the dude was a horrible ᎠᏍᎦᏯ who did some horrible things to ᎠᏴ and my family including being a ᎡᏆ racist towards ᎠᏴ for speaking in ᏣᎳᎩ until my mom permanently kicked him out of the family and told her what had happened. Those incidents discouraged me from passionately learning the language for a long while and my perfectionism at the time didn't help either until months later where I started to being interested in learning, teaching, and speaking ᎢᎦᏛ of it again and I really really go to nsu just so someone else can help ᎠᏴ learn it so I can then teach it to my family and feature it within my movie that I plan to release only online somewhere in the future, but for now I'm going to take my time with it and do the best I can to learn it from whatever I have to work with online until I can get to nsu next year. Keep doing what makes you ᎠᎵᎮᎵᏍᏗ, keep loving and learning more about yourself, your loved ones, and everything else in ᎯᎠ ᎡᎶᎯ, and have a ᎣᏍᏓ ᎢᎦ :3
