He's a scammer. I never considered him part of Kiss in any way. Yeah, he can write songs, but that doesn't make him Kiss. To bad people are buying is bullshit. I guess it says something about those folks too.
I don’t think that’s his Facebook page. I think someone is doing it and claiming they are him he has no other Internet presence in the last 25 years. I don’t think he owns a computer, I don’t think he can afford a computer, and I don’t think he knows how to use one.
Kiss blows anyway. That live "solo" you played was awful. Sounded like the first time someone ever picked up a guitar and just started hitting random notes as dast as the can.
The tribute has been discontinued. The closest thing you can get now is the studio, the modern series and the arguably the epi custom. Epiphone is the workhorse guitar now. If I was hellbent on getting a Gibson lp in 2024? It would be the studio. The signature models ruined the guitar industry. They gave everyone and their mother one.
Well said, I've fallen down this fucked up rabbit hole kudos for the unaliving the dog bit, I think that Faysal guy might be helping the grift as he's a real estate guy
He played on 2 albums not “one and a half.” 🙄 There is no such thing as a half of an album, Shock Headed Peter. Vinnie was an incredibly gifted guitarist. His talent cannot be denied. Carmine Appice said Vinnie is a weirdo but praised his guitar ability.
I saw Vinnie with KISS on the Creatures tour & again on the Lick it up tour. I thought he was pretty good but, I'd have preferred to have Ace. I saw Ace once with KISS & again as a solo act & I'll take Ace over Vinnie or any other guitarist KISS has had. I didn't know Vinnie was such a money grubber. I'm surprised he didn't get along better with Gene & Paul since the three of them have that in common.
Vinnie it's been a hundred years already, just sign the KISS contract and we'll put your avatar in the "Lick it Up" song on the virtual reality tour or don't nobody cares.
When Vinny show’s up to these recent venues it’s laughable. He’s driving a real beater of a car. Ding’s all over, bald tire’s, a rag for sure. Upon leaving a Mooch-A-Thon gig he needed jumped start just to leave. As he slowly swerved out of the parking lot his car loudly backfired and left a cloud of black smoke.
Paul Stanley said "Vinnie sold a guitar that he claimed was his favorite, but never played it and sold it for more than it was worth in the store." Beware! Paul is on youtube claiming this. Now, I don't know Vinnie Vincent so I'm not passing judgement on him, just stating what I say and heard coming from Paul Stanley.
Even in an era that produced a bunch of shred guitarists, Vinnie was over the top. I think he's flogging his association with KISS because frankly it was his finest hour as far as commercial success went. If he'd toned things down and maybe followed the career path of a Marty Friedman (joining an already-established band as it was on the rise) or a Paul Gilbert (adopting a more commercial sound) he might not have to keep reminding people he was the last KISS member to join during the makeup years. And as someone else noted, the fact that Gene and Paul aren't charging people to join their Facebook groups should tell him something.
If you watch his guitar instructional Video, that’s pretty much what he does. Chromatic licks where he uses chicken picking aka picking and plucking notes with your fingers as fast as possible.
Seen him when he was with Kiss. Even then he stood off to the far side of the stage often so close to the amps that the lights couldn't even reach him. The concert was like watching a Kiss trio. He would only come out the shadows to do his solos then slink back into the darkness. It was at this point I realized this clown's career with Kiss wasn't going to be long. If he was that much of an ass hat then I can only imagine what he'd be like 2day.
2020 Tribute honeyburst left hand. First Gibson, first Les Paul. It's a simple, pretty, American made Gibson with a great feel and an even better sound!!! Love the tribute They (Gibson ) have discontinued these in the past just to revive them again. The 'Tribute' title seems to be the titles given to Gibson's intermittent renderings. Just making a guess from patterns I see with Gibson. In any case... The Gibson Les Paul and SG Tributes are an excellent value for a quality made iconic sounding guitar.
