It's a small chain restaurant. However, I want to give major props to the black bear diner in Madras, OR for defying lockdown orders (and the people supporting them). A large chunk of businesses in town closed down forever due to state gov oppression and never came back. Truly sad for those living there. But Black Bear stayed open despite the threats and fines. And the community supported them!
We were in Sedona, Arizona for my niece's wedding when I realized that I had not packed any undershirts, so the morning of the wedding, we had to drive down to Cottonwood, which is 20 miles Southwest of Sedona, in order to go to Walmart for the undershirts. While there, we stopped into The Black Bear Diner for breakfast. It was good and the service was nice. The funny part of this story is that I accidentally bought the wrong size t-shirts. They were for kids, so when I got back to Sedona and started to get dressed for the wedding, I realized that the t-shirt was for kids, so it didn't even cover my torso.
Oh, I had an undershirt, but it looked more like a mid-drift shirt like the girls wear, and with the wedding being outside, in February no less, my belly was cold. 😂
@@GlenAndRhonda When you both were talking and eating duck doing lunch , I heard music, that was somewhat loud. It was not a pianist.. It seemed like you were treated pretty nice. Have you ever tried Oceano cruiseline line for the food? They said the food is fantastic.
@@faithmoore7520 in that scene we were the only passengers in the YC restaurant for lunch as 99% of passengers had gone ashore. The staff asked if we would like music playing in the background and we had said sure.
@@GlenAndRhonda Oh, thanks for the. Clarification.. There has been various reports of people saying that they were treated like gold. . They said the treatment was better than any other Cruiseline, However, the food was not the best . Would that be a fair assessment with the both of you. For example, their food is nothing like regent, cruise line, or Oceana, Yet the MSC Yacht Club is so much better,and their prices is most economical. Also heard that MSC announce things in different languages. Some passengers do not mind , yet some found it annoying . What would be your assessment on the food. Were there other’s services like high noon tea and food and drinks offers to you around the pool area . Is there anything else you would like to mention that you might not have? Based on your video, I might want to check it out . If you don’t mind me, asking, about how much was it for you both?
@@faithmoore7520 We definitely were treated like royalty and we felt very very pampered by the YC staff. We found the food to be great quality in the YC lounge, Pool area and YC restaurant. Rhonda asked them to customize food to her taste almost every day and it was done without any question and was always perfectly cooked for her liking. We have not sailed Regent or Oceana so cannot comment on a comparison but YC is definitely a well priced product.
You guys are so adorable! I love your excitement and appreciation for everything! We are thinking about booking the yacht club for the first time. We usually sail in the NCL haven and wanting to try another cruise line. Thank you for a wonderful review. ❤
I have a cruise booked on Yacht club in November but cannot find out whether they provide an ironing or laundry service in with the price , anyone know?
We loved Whitby. The Abbey is stunning, and Trenchers was the best fish and chips I’ve ever had in our lives! Great place to visit, I’d recommended it to anyone.

Poor video, you completely ignored half the Marina. Also during the high season one night per week the street vendors come in and have an open bazaar with entertainers as well as food. Right across the street are ocean front Hotels, Resorts and condominiums to stay in. Some of the best views on the bay ! The entire marina zone is five minutes from the airport, Marina Vallarta has the best security in the city.
You didn't or i may have missed it the price for the week, i only sail from the UK as im disabled and flying is a pain for me nowadays. Thanks for the insight, looked great 👍 43:07

@GlenAndRhonda he loves his pub! Glad he was jolly 😊. We live in carlisle so visit bridlington often with the kids but once a year we go with no kids and do a long weekend bar crawl.
somebody got it in for Bridlington av been going a long while I find people friendly and it's a good promenade to av a good walk and if u want a good coffee call in at cafe society brill al keep going no matter what some daft people say carnt beat East coast that's what kids lv amusements beach picnic fun fun fun regardless the weather
Great video. I have just returned from a few days in Bridlington and to my surprise I really enjoyed it and the hotel I stayed in was great. I have not been for about 20 years and yes some parts run down but I would say not as bad as Blackpool and no better or worse than Scarborough. I enjoyed so much I am going again in September!!!
ALRIGHT BUT A DECENT PRICE COMPARED TO A CAFE OR UPMARKET DINER. COULD DO WITH CUMBERLAND SAUSAGE INSTEAD OF NORMAL BANGERS ALSO BLACK PUDDING, BUT U HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR THAT.
If we would have had Cumberland sausage and black pudding ( well not Rhonda lol) it would have been a brilliant breaky, didn’t think of that but will next time 👍
I loved Genoa. Ive lived in Southern Spain half my life and am married to a Spaniard , so I speak fluent Spanish and some Italian. All these things help towards being more aware of scammers. That and me having plenty of euros as its our money.😮
Well good points for sure, in any country not speaking the local lingo and being unfamiliar with the currency definitely makes a tourist a more likely scam target.
The benefits of reserving a FUTURE CRUISE whilst onboard MSC are fab, too! MSC also give 10% off on line for reservations if you're over 65. We met a lovely retired couple from New Jersey on the Meraviligia in April whilst we were in Yacht Club. They have done the Haven many times with NCL and prefered YC much more. So much, that theyve booked for next year for the entire family! All in YC 10 adults and 4 kids $55.000 ! Note- 4 of them will be staying in the Family penthouse suite, which is under Aurea, but theyll still be in the YC experience. Its there mums 96th birthday and theyll be in that suite with her. They want to be sure she has an incredible time.🎉❤.
