40-something ex-smoker, father, husband and business owner that found the amount of information for people wanting to quit cigarettes or any type of tobacco difficult to find, if at all.
I started vaping not too long ago. As I was trying to research it to see if it was for me and what, if any, health concerns and/or benefits there were I realized there isn't that much information out there without really digging for it or knowing someone that already vapes or is using some type of e-cigarette product.
I hope this channel will be able to help others quit smoking by providing useful information as well as a place for myself and others to help grow advocacy for e-cigarettes. A less harmful alternative to smoking.
Quit big 100 watt+ stock mods right after trying it. The taste is not that good and did a build using 70 watts and had same cloud production and much better flavor. Good honest review
Calculating ohms law is not exact in mod displays. it will show a bit higher voltage than what you calculate . I think it's just a chipset flaw. I ignore it and have no problem
I just can’t get no flavour from buildables no matter what I try, different cotton different mesh wire the lot, nothing seems to work….sticking with falcon 2 I think. Shame.
Just bought my first, a drag x2. Has 0.15 ohm coil. It says I should use it at a wattage between 60 and 80. I have vg60 juice. But I find the higher wattage too much. Any comments or tips for a very get new user? I literally bought it 30 minutes ago
I know this is kind of late and you may have figured it out already, but: Run it at the recommended 60-80W. Any lower and you're going to quickly burn through coils. I've been vaping since 2019 and have made this very mistake. It can be little intimidating, but you really just have to get used to it. Try playing with the airflow or fire in shorter bursts. If you want more control over what wattage you want to fire at, you really have to go with rebuildables.
@@shadowcub5751 ah! What ive done is completely different! I started using 0.3 ohm coils at 30 watt. I get about 300-400 puffs with 5 ml and the battery lasts for 500-650 puffs. Completely changed it for me and I'm really happy with what I got. Bought some extra tanks for it, so I can switch easily between multiple vlavors I have
@@StMargorach I’m glad you were able to find 0.3s for your tanks. They seem to have become a bit of a unicorn, at least where I live, which is one reason I primarily run an RDA. You’re much closer to acceptable values for Ohm’s Law with 0.3s. Ideally, you should run 0.3 resistance at 45 watts, assuming 3.7 volt batteries. 0.16 coils ideally should be run at 85 watts. See how far off that is if you’re running 0.16 ohms at 30W versus 0.3 ohms at 30W? Some other tips I’ve found over the years: with some tank coils, the resistance sometimes changes over the life of the coil. To remain at optimal function, the wattage needs to be adjusted if that happens. There are a number of ohm calculators available online, but I find the one from Wotofo to be the most pleasant to use. If your mod doesn’t show resistance (most do these days), it’s worth getting a mod that does whenever it’s time to replace yours. You don’t need 300W mods; it’s a waste of money. 100-200W is more than enough. Tank bands are king. I don’t know how many times one has saved my tank. If your tanks didn’t come with them or you can’t find them, a rubber band will do. Sony batteries have been the best in my experience (with VRK being the worst). And generally it’s best for the batteries to charge them in a charger versus in the mod. Clean your tanks between coil swaps. I know way too many people who never clean their tanks and then complain of things like bad flavor or the atomizer stops working (by extension, make sure it’s dry before using it again). If you replace tanks, save the mouthpiece. They’re usually a universal fit to an extent (and can be used on RDAs, if you ever go that route) and you can never have too many for the times one decides to fly off and becomes lost to the abyss.
@@shadowcub5751 ow, I live in Thailand (im not thai /eastern). They are illegal here, but there are still multiple stores XD But so far I've only found one store that sells juice without nicotine... But they have a good variety. 100ml bottles are 220 baht, which is about 6 euros. The coils are between 120 and 150 baht depending on the store, so +- 4 euros at the higher end
I just did my first wicking and I'm kinda scared how to vape on my hellvape dead rabbit max I wish my coils will work next time I will do single coil. Now I need to learn how to use this beast I'm so used to my sub ohm tank 😂
.4 is 4/10 of one. Aka 40% of a whole .27 in 27/100 aka 27% of a whole This is 5th grade math that's why nobody replied to you. Just RU-vid a video about how to decimals
This idiot is blab for five minutes, and did not explain at all the reason for having one resistance value over another. Oh, gee. more wire equals more resistance. no shit. Useless video, useless vape lore and Millennial wives tales.
Wouldn't a higher resistance coil take more power? He says .27 is higher than .4 which doesn't compute or does the high resistance heat the coil more so it uses more power? I'm confused.
Best is TC SS (SS316L ) or go to TCR mode and put TC number for wire you use . It depends which mode you use . But most of them under TC SS have dial it up for SS316L ,, or leave settings how they are if you mod has TC SS ..... Google which is TC number for SS316 for your mode bcz different chipsets have different numbers for SS 316l from 92 to 105
I just bought the istick pico plus, ive had 4 other isick pico, i always use the wattage, it wont let me vape in watt, the numbers show up, i dont hear that sizzle sound, it works in all the other modes, but have no clue what to set it on. I always set it on wattage, at 35. Any idea why my wattage wont work? And or help me what i should put it on? Thank u
I'm new to vaping, after wasting half a bottle of e juice. . . I found vaping at high watts (180-200 watts) is best when vaping is very small fast puffs 👍 I have used lower watts but with the e juice I currently have (sadboy -happy end blue) the flavor was way too strong and the clouds where so moist it was almost like drinking e juice it was horrible. . . I hit it at 200 watts with tinys fast hit up to 5 hits and I tap the fire button like it's a hot stove, fast quick taps and it works for me not too overwhelming flavor but clouds are small
