LYRICS: What a friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry Everything to God in prayer! Oh, what peace we often forfeit, Oh, what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry Everything to God in prayer! Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged- Take it to the Lord in prayer. Can we find a friend so faithful, Who will all our sorrows share? Jesus knows our every weakness; Take it to the Lord in prayer. Are we weak and heavy-laden, Cumbered with a load of care? Precious Savior, still our refuge- Take it to the Lord in prayer. Do thy friends despise, forsake thee? Take it to the Lord in prayer! Take it to the Lord in prayer In His arms He’ll take and shield thee, Thou wilt find a solace there.
Diana Ross!!! I love her since Theme's of Mahogany got very known here in Brasil in the 70'ies. This show I saw on tv in the 90ies and love the musics she sang here, the classic standards of the jazz. She is magnificent!!!! I was so lucky and happy cause i could invite my mother to see her in person in her show in Rio... Save Diana Ross!!!
I remember when this first aired on ABC. It was my 1st time seeing a movie about mental illness particularly paranoid schizophrenia which I learned was affecting several family members years later. Diana Ross did an excellent job in this film.
As a fan of classical music, I am thrilled to listen to Winifred Atwell playing Chopin’s work. She was so versatile a pianist. Thanks a lot for posting this clip.
I’m 83 now and I’ve loved this guy since I was 10. Just listen to Varsity Rag and Handful of Keys just two of his many compositions. Mozart eat your heart out! I must add I love Mozart just as much! Dave Tilley 14:02
Love, respect and great admiration for this legion. But Glen was using cocaine heavily during this time period, that's why he is so skinny here and the "Lone Ranger" song looks almost comical to see the orchestra try to stay up with him! But what a performance it was, Wow! There are very, VERY few guitarists that could match him, and his voice was magnetic! Thanks Glen, and thanks Kim and family for sharing him with us!
