Hello RU-vid! My name is DrumRollTony and welcome to my music reaction channel!
I am a musician and Twitch streamer. My passions are playing bass and percussion, teaching music, streaming video games and content creation. Most of my performance experience has been playing in jazz bands, marching bands, dci, symphonic groups and musical theater production shows.
I am currently the musical director for the Seattle Seahawks Drumline and have been active as a music teacher for 20+ years. I taught high school band & drumline for 11 years at Garfield HS and am still working as a percussion clinician with various student and community ensembles in the city.
Music gives us all so much love and I want to discover more with all of you on this reaction channel! My reaction style is my own and often involves me talking over the recording and rewinding often.
Please check out my Twitch channel and say hello when I am live. I stream Tuesday & Friday at 12pm PST
This hits differently when you realise its a composition of all the previous expansion's theme's that came before since this marks the end of the current story. So for a player everytime you get the transitions and you realise where they're from you get HYPED
Great reactions. Love Dimash with his bluesy tones and his image in this is fire. Another couple suggestions for you: The Story of One Sky is a literal masterpiece, took Dimash 3 years to create it. You absolutely must see that! Also, 'Unforgettable Day' (Live at Gekko), and 'Daybreak' are another 2 I highly recommend from Dimash x
This was the first song that got me hooked into his discography/music. Sure, I had heard Dramaturgy before, but this song was unlike anything I’d ever heard before (and I was so happy when that later same year he got his first opportunity to make a song for an anime, Dororo’s ending “Yamiyo”) So when I watched the debut episode for Kaisen the minute it dropped a few months after his first ever song in the anime industry, I absolutely freaked the hell out when I recognized his voice. His past music at that time indicated only high potential in anime songs and he has definitely reached them.
I ussually just listen and breakdown songs in two 2 part, which is the lyrics act as the story that guides your feelings while the background music amplifies the emotions that you get. But after watching your videos for like a year now, i started to enjoy and appreciate the different intruments and elements that makes the song /music
Oh, you’ve done it now, haha. Opening the door to FF14 will change the way that you relate to music. I am so excited to watch (and listen to) you take this journey. ☺️
Please listen to “Flow” and “Close in the Distance” - two amazing songs that are forever etched upon my heart. If you’d like to step away from cinematically and explore a bit of the battle music (which is definitely a good idea!), then a few of the community favorites are “Eden: Shiva’s Theme”, “To The Edge: The Warrior of Light’s Theme”, “Exponential Entropy: The Cruise Chaser’s Theme”, and “The Knights of the Round Theme”. Then, if you really want to stretch your ear drums and listen to some funky, crazy battle music, then I would recommend “What Angel Wakes Me: Titania’s Theme”, “Thunder Rolls: Ramuh’s Theme”, and “Equilibrium: Sophia’s Theme”. You’ve probably never heard stuff like that before, haha!
The only issue with this is that the trailer is so visually driven versus musically driven. So with out the visual context some of the musical points obviously fall flat (because in musical context they are meh)
This warms my heart; the look of pure enjoyment on the faces of all these drummers, including Herb. I met him once at a gig I was playing with my band @ the Starry Plough in Berkeley, CA. He had just recently joined Primus and was telling me with great excitement how they had worked up the YYZ intro to the beginning of Tommy the Cat. I had also recently seen him with Major Lingo, a band he was in from Arizona. They were an amazing world beat type band. His talent and enthusiasm were tangible and it's no surprise to me years later how successful he has been.
I have played this magnificent game through multiple times, and I always opt to fight Raphael. The whole scene is amazing. The dialogue and the music is AAA motion picture quality.
If you want to do more jojos music i highly recommend listening to the anthology mix. Basically, its promotional music for parts 1-3 and have almost like alternate themes for each of the main characters of those parts. Even if you dont make a videdo i just highly recommend listening to it at some point if you enjoy the other jojos music! 🥁❤
