I've just ordered this lazer deal from x tools as I make watches and want to engrave my logo and other information on the watch case I had no idea that I can make money from thus tool your video is outstanding clear and straight to the point you have another subscription do you sell your stuff online or at local shops thanks aidan fellow brit 😊
Love this video, and your voice is so soothing. I love your accent as well, I have British ancestry, but I just sound like a southerner...USA. ❤😊 Also, where did you get your letter stamps? And I have got to remember to use plastic wrap under my clay projects to be able to form them better when I make bowls. Thanks for the reminder!
Hi! I love how professional and simple your tutorial is! I need help. I’m trying to make a mold for a crystal octopus I have. It’s actually a napkin holder and since it’s crystal it’s very detailed. However, it has no flat side. It stands on the tip of the tentacles on the bottom side and on its rounded head on its top side…how will I get it out? Could you send me the list of all your tools including the printer? Thank you!!

This needs a lot more steps to make it happen and a new video on this I should make when I get time, there are a few other good RU-vid tutorials on this let me see if I can find the name of the guy I’d recommend
Fantastic video Sarah. The clocks look amazing. As you know I have the LP2 and it has transformed my craft markets by allowing me ot customise items in front of the customers while they watch. Still have to get my LM3 up and running so I can go to the next stage of things I can offer at the markets. Take care Sarah. Cheers, Huw
Hi Huw, really good to hear that your market stalls are going from strength to strength, well done. Thank you, glad you enjoyed the bird clock project. Just about to start work on another 20 project ideas video…they take me a fare while to get filmed 😁 Take care and best wishes, Sarah
I hope you can help me. I misjudged how much I needed to make the mold. I ended up 1/2 inch short from the top. I live in a very rural area. Having to wait for delivery of more silicone. Can I add the new mixture to the already partially finished mold?
I really think it should be ok, the silicone should stick to the silicone, just make sure you don’t touch it or get dust or grease in there in the meantime, I’d cover it over. The other thing you can do to bulk out the silicone is to chop up any other unused silicone molds you have into tiny pieces and mix this in with your fresh silicone and then pour it in, let me know how you get on, best of luck.
Oh Sarah, these birds are beautiful. What a joy that would be to have a clock like that. You are insanely talented. I watch a young lady from Australia that has a laser cutter and it cut 2” pine. She layered 3 pieces of cutout pieces and made corbels. Gorgeous work. Anyway, have a wonderful weekend.
Thank you Margaret, this big laser cuts much thicker, I’ve been making some Father’s Day trophies with my son as a school fundraiser out of thicker wood boards, what’s the Australian ladies channel please??? ☺️ Have a fab weekend too, just got in from Chester after hoping to spot Prince William for a big wedding that was just on in the cathedral 😍 x
@@RedRockingBird ohhhhhhwow. The trophies sound quite nice for the dads. It’s wonderful he has such a talented mom. Lol, I got nailed for everything as my daughter’s were in school, “ hand goes up, my mom will do cupcakes, my mom will paint scenery, my mom will feed the band and chase 120+ crazy wonderful kids( I was in my 50’s for that last). My youngest came in my mid 30’s. Lol.
Good to hear you are getting better, thanks for watching, have fun with some crafts again soon I hope, I’d make sure I wore a good mask and PPE, all the best ❤️
Hi Sarah! Can I put my air dry clay piece in the silicone like this? Or should I seal the piece first before creating a mold for it? Thank you for this video!
Hi, Homemade Silicon Molds for Air Dry Clay - with air dry clay: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Br4RvHWbQFk.html Take a look at this video, air dry clay needs to be 100% sealed, thanks for watching and enjoy your projects ❤️
I’ve not tried something so long with silicone, only this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-R0HCS_YHbks.html I would try first a horizontal mould but would also be interesting to try a long tall vertical mould, I’ll have a think, thanks for watching
@@KristaBandito can I ask what you hope to cast in the mould and if you want to use this to actually strike the drums? Just thinking about the strength of everything, if not just for decorative purposes or for cake making etc??? Thanks
So acrylic gel medium is often mixed with acrylic paint to increase viscosity and transparency, thanks for watching, have fun creating, maybe see what else you have available to you
@@RedRockingBird That's great! Sorry I love your channel but have felt lately it's very heavily biased towards clay. You have great lasers (especially if you have the F1 Ultra) and it would be great to see more from someone as creative as you. Being a bloke my projects are a bit 'practical' and I need inspiration.
@@pauld7827 practical projects are great so 👍 but yes I am playing around a lot more with my lasers again now. I had my clay fans wanting more clay videos as they felt there weren’t enough…I somehow need to find a happy medium producing both along with a few other creative projects in between. I love any kind of creative project so I get swayed back and forth very easily. Hoping to get the F1 ultra soon so 🤞 I really appreciate you reaching out to let me know you like these videos, I’m very confident with my clay content but feel slightly more intimidated for some reason about the laser side, which is daft as my background is furniture and product design, so thank you
Thanks, you can purchase a similar font and add it to your computer programs yes, but for personal use you can also go to a font generator and capture the words you want to use and then use these for free
Hi, that is a really tough one but as a basic I’d work out the hourly rate I wanted to be paid and times that by how many hours each piece took to make, then add on all material costs and selling costs. If you can batch make to sell this will save you time and keep cost down. As an artist it’s easy to undersell ourselves, but try and keep away from undercutting competitors and selling yourself short, best of luck ❤️
@@user-jc9ck6gy6g another tough one but anything from £15-£30+ per hour depending on experience or how you value your time, others may say different, best of luck
