This helped me out so much cuz my experience is only bounded within Photoshop and nothing else. I tried Clip Studio Paint but its UI seemed to speed down my workflow. It is a miracle for me to have an easy-going interface like this for animating. It almost reminded me of "FlipNote Studio".
This is the clearest explanation of CSP's features I've found so far! It really helps that you showed everything with simple examples, like a number on every cell to easily show which ones you're talking about, instead of just starting off with a sped up video of you animating something complicated while rambling over it. I've done two game jams so far. Both ended with most of the participants dropping out. It seems like a pointless exercise to me. I'm not a game creator, I do the music, Sound FX, Sound Design for games. A group of people get together, there's a lot of game dev talk most of which I don't understand. I just hope it gets better.

Fill the panel in with white, then create a new layer above it and apply a clipping mask to it. Now you should be locked within that panel and you won't go outside it when you draw as long as you're drawing on the later with the clipping mask

This is so off topic, but I'm curious. Let's say you're proud of some key frames in your animation but have to stop for the day, what do you do? Is there a menu in the app that allows you to come back to it after you close the app, if so, how good does it save? Do you have to export the whole thing to save it even while they're still sketched out keyframes? If so, how do you put it back there again.
From hearing your voice, I believe that you are quite young, being able to make game is very impressive. I've been a beginner for almost 3-4 months now and still cannot make any game on my own and still being trapped in 'tutorial hell' (for definition you could search online) (I have experience in other areas of programming though ex: web dev, app dev and have make some well-known basic game, ex: snake, tetris). Could you give me some advices to get out of this situation, I recognize my problem but it doesn't help much, this year summer is the last chance for me to learn to make games and make a beautiful CV because next year I have a very important test (the same as Gaokao en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaokao but not as competitive as since my country have fewer student).
