You forgot an awesome temporary speedster: Fry from Futurama! That whole scene after the 100th cup of coffee was chef's kiss. I still call random things an orange blur to this day
Good video. Game Sonic gets some pretty crazy feats even without considering Archie. In Sonic and the Secret Rings he explores an entire universe-sized realm in like a day, then beats up a genie that just got done absorbing the power of 100 other universes, all without even going super. In Generations, he runs through areas that have had their flow of time erased by the Time Eater and it's stated that his speed alone is repairing the damage. Just moving without the presence of time would put Sonic at infinite speed, and depending on how you interpret his speed undoing time erasure, you might even be able to say he has immeasurable or inaccessable speed. In Forces, Mid as it was, Sonic breaks out of a pocket dimension through his speed. And in 06, Super Sonic was fast enough to speed blitz a higher dimensional being that exists in the past, present, and future all at once. Game Sonic may be one of the most slept on video game characters out there, too many people think you need to fall back on Archie to give Sonic any props. I blame the fact that videogames naturally have to slow themselves down a bit in gameplay so human players can actually play and react to what's happening
The best reverse flash moment is when i went back in time and made Barry have a awkwart moment with his first girlfriend if you know what i mean :). I know its not real but the fact that you could actually believe he would do something like that still makes it funny. Also If Red Rush talking with his girlfriend takes hours how does he not see omnimans slow hand moving towards him. Lastly why does he stand still while hitting him, bro is just starring at Omniman for minutes in his slowed down time. No Omni man isnt as fast as Red rush because if he was then he wouldnt almost have lost to those zombie robots, he would instantly have delt with them.
Quicksilver also is alot stronger than the average speedster as well in terms of power through his punches and lifting heavy objects. You see that more in comics
I think the whole debate is stupid because there is multiple supermen. It isn’t as though one can act like the most powerful supermen are the only ones that exists. There are supermen that can solo the multiverse yet there are others that are nearly killed from a nuke.
@@DirkDiggler334no, it’s not confusing. If not specified then they are taking about the current canon comic version of Superman at the time the question was asked. I am sick of people asking “which Superman?”
That scene where kimiko knocks down A-Train is one of the few actually realistic scenes of a speedster getting defeated, he didn’t see her and so couldn’t react to something he couldn’t see coming. Meanwhile jean grey can suddenly move stuff atleast 20x as fast as a bullet.
What I love about Quicksilver is that he isn’t some broken cosmic reality breaker like the flash, he’s just a speedster and that’s it. He’s plain and simple and that’s all he needs to be, his speed doesn’t break reality so he feels a lot more grounded compared to the usual dc speed force shenanigans
Nah his powerset literally contradicts his whole thing about not destroying the environment if he moves too fast, he is kinda lame in the comics Marvel treated Speedsters like a fcking joke for so many years, idk where did u find that grounded part, but he Marvel gave him too op power boosts in the comics without any reasonable explanation to his powers also he really has very bad comics.... as of now he is so fast that he can do dimension hopping as well as break reality, he doesn't have any aura like The Flash but somehow he doesn't vaporize everything but there is no literal or plausible explanation how he does it. So the concept of Speedforce is way more creative than getting Speed powers from a gene.
Those quicksilver scenes are easily my favorite out of any of the X-men movies and I feel like they are so underrated, killer video brotha keep it up!!!
ok but what about superman va thragg or battle beast?? and by that logic you’d have to include mark at the end of the series, who had faces thragg TWICE and survived. not to mention if eve locks in and fks around with his atoms he’s lobotomizes (only theoretical ofc)
Great video. For me the speedster run and fight scene from "Eternals" was really great in that is showed her speed from an outside pov but it still felt like insane superspeed. Really loved that
Hey bro love the video! But you can put subtitles in the next ones? I’m from Brazil and I’m starting to learn some English so it’s a little hard to me to understand completely the video without the subtitles, love!!!
After this video I'm conviced that Thawne controls absolutely everything. Dude is pretty much the personification of determinism, combined with being the biggest simp to ever live, of course.
Thanks for this amazing take on speedsters. I agree with everything. The boys shows the human side of hero’s including our mistakes greed, lust, power, and pride. The X-men quick silver just did an amazing job of showing off those abilities and how awesome they can be along with some great tunes. Let’s be honest tho if he tried to play music while moving that fast wouldn’t the song be slowed down to point of it not being worth listening to lol.
Yes! thats the one thing I learned after uploading this video, someone else commented that and once you hear that you can't not think abt it every time you see those scenes. Thanks for the comment
@@DirkDiggler334 no omni man is faster than red rush. When red rush reacted to omni man's attack is because he wasn't moving fast enough. But the new speedster who join guardians of the globe can move hypersonic or re-entry speed.
Johnny Quick has always been my favorite version of a speedster. Besides the Accelerated Man which we rarely even got to see both in the comics or the tv show. Quicksilver is definitely my second choice, however I've always thought that Marvel was never the best at writing speedsters. I mean we have Whizzer, Speed, Makari, Quicksilver and even Speed Demon. But they always die for being too slow.
Okay haven't seen the show but is your favorite scene of A-Train not a contradiction to how he can perceive the world around him in slow motion while running? Pretty sure you even showed a scene where we see from his perspective going at high speeds and everything is frozen in place basically. So how did he run straight through this woman? Not saying anything against the show but I'd like some consistent internal logic if possible. Definitely just feels like shock factor to me.
17:29 that headcrush, it was from his POV. Omni-Man was fast enough to catch him, and crush his head in, what to the other members of the Guardians, an instant. Like you said, Omni-Man was just faster than him, and had them in an ambush, and was already slaughtering members, can be forgiven for a momentary lapse in strategy
