Pushing literally was splitting my bases just like you can see in the side view of this video!! I would never notice until they would return for refills 🤯 I could never understand why this was happening!!!!!!

Hey i have a question ( beginner lash tech here) so 1. Do u apply a lash fan to every every lash when u do a volume? ( i do with classic but it takes me 4h…) 2. How long does it take u to make a full set? Thank you
The base on the first is simply too thick for the natural lash. This can cause issues such as 1) discomfort for the client when blinking 2) heavy feeling and tenderness to the lash line 3) when brushing the lashes, we risk hitching the base of the lash, in turn, ripping the natural right out of the follicle. The second two are nice and tiny, the perfect size and width for the natural lash. These will feel lightweight and pose no issues to the client
An older lady with lots of gaps and sparse lashes came to me today asking if I can do this for her… I said no. She said her previous tech has been doing it. No wonder this lady has so many gaps!
I have a client who thinks I’m using too much glue, but I was trained by you guys…. So I know I’m not. Her symptoms are excessive yellowish hard crusty balls at the corners of her eyes and thick gray ish gunky residue. I think it’s a lack of washing…. She doesn’t wash her face from her own words. Can you guide me on what symptoms would be caused by excessive glue?
Hello love, this does sound like poor cleansing. Yellow crusts and grey gunk in the eyes is a sign of build up for sure. Often, too much glue results in 1) stickies 2)Redness and/or puffiness of the eyelid 3) discomfort or pain when blinking.. if you would like us to assess your work to make sure it looks good, send photos of your work to @lostartistrylash on Instagram and we will assess it closer to see if we have any suggestions on things that can be improved :)
Great question! You have options. You can apply volume fans or classics (or a mix of both) to the middle layer as well for extra coverage ❤️ all comes down to the aesthetic you’re going for
Absolutely! The application technique is slightly different but yes, you can place on the top, side or beneath the natural lash for sure! We have a webinar coming up that is so inexpensive and covers so many tips and tricks like this that will have you lashing with easy while promoting the best retention. You can find info on the webinar here ❤️ lostartistrylash.com/products/retention-webinar
Well, it’s probably a bad habit that she’s developed. When your lashes are done and you open your eyes, they will appear really red. She definitely sees this. I would find another artist
Great question! I recently discovered that magic happens when you use Superbonder before and after - I still use Bond Aid but for oily clients and i've been playing with using both and I can't believe how amazing the results have been!! For years, I had no idea you could do this <3
lol it’s horrendous. Sometimes music is so limited with business accounts. It’s tough out here 😂 but hey, at least the lashes are beautiful *volume on mute*
