I was there. 15 years old. I had come all the way from Nebraska primarily to see Bjork, because at that time she no other US dates. I spent the day in total awe, the whole lineup was amazing, but this set was worth the whole trip.
I was also there in 96 for this night time concert. It only looks like it's indoors because of how closely they are recording Bjork, fireworks wouldn't be set off either in an inside venue for safety reasons...i also had to hitchhike back to London after missing my train that's how i know.
I was at Phoenix 96 & 97, this is not Phoenix, I am 95% sure this isn’t it. She had £40 thousand worth of fireworks going off at twilight, and that looks indoors. I remember her in a red dress with dark hair?, but I was 16 and I am 43 now.
I was there for this🙌 Red Hot Chili Peppers played Fugazi’s, In the Waiting room, half way into their set, epic weekend. I remember the power going out at the beginning of the Fugees set, but they freestyled for 20 minutes for those close enough to hear until power issue got fixed.
@@vanessagrey3720 Björk more or less says here "Too many (Paparazzi) they're all there you're not expecting them, they ask you all these questions and you're all polite and I say listen come tomorrow and I'll do a proper interview with you and they won't listen" basically just trashy rude Paparazzi who push boundaries treat her disrespectfully and intrude on her space.
I was there! It was such a fantastic set. She was way too different for the Beastie Boy fans. Some were making fun of me in the crowd cause I was dancing like crazy.
Bummer. Bjork was the highlight of this whole show. This show was the first time I took her seriously outside of Beavis and Butt-Head. Like that shit bopped, but her performance here blew me away and I've been enamored for ~25 years.
For me, it's mostly tag and bag. It never ends. It's like, I got them all again, and they have friends who are opening the bags. No... I want a simple, hidden life away, away.
I don't know how it is in Iceland, but if you're slow in the US, you will absorb all sin and have a miserable life a lot of the time. I don't mean to repeat so much, but half the population is after me at any given time due to the way they teach "evolution." They try to keep us under cliches and subliminal things, but the more you're harassed, the more you will begin to wake up. IT's a battle between Beetard land and Hell. Pick one. Everyone will attack you for your opinions though. They are "good" people if they have the "right" opinions that are so valued. It keeps the logic away. Why, Bjork, why? Like the others, you aren't qualified to do things like "Declare Independence" or operations. I'm not either. I'm just a pathetic "victim."
She had a music school. I was always put down because the only gift I used to have was English, and only snotty spoiled people went to "find themselves." I simply read a lot. I've tried everything else, and I'm even worse. Bad advice there. I mean, there are like 34 million Americans who can't read beyond a third-grade level. That would have been my job. I want Mortal Kombat to end. That has been my side life that I hate. I'm beyond injured. I have like PTSD from the physical trauma. I got my own blood pressure machine. I want to hide away from all of you. There will be peace.
I was there too - it was my first and last festival. Bjork headlined on the Saturday night and she was fantastic. The performance ended with fireworks. Wish I could go back in time...

When she says “it’s the best thing ever” I get teary because I finally met the kind of person I hoped to meet after listening to I Miss You a million times. Too bad her relationship didn’t end up how I hope mine will.
I wrote a comment about being there before watching it, and I am sure it was light when she started, and it doesn’t look like Phoenix 96? It looks indoors?
