I wish I knew when this interview took place. I know that her song "Violently Happy" came out in 1994. It's really fascinating to watch Björk move as she speaks. Her hands seem to have their own involvement with the chewing gum, at times trying to get access into her mouth, at other times manipulating the gum. Has there ever been another Björk? Ha!
when she remarks "you see" at almost every end of her sentences suddenly the atmosphere dims. there are flecks of sun light poking through tall trees dance on my skin and then i am inside a cottage of a 100 year old toycarpenter who is telling me about his childhood and his entire life
it bugs me to watch people interview Bjork when you can tell they havent really taken the time to understand the art that she had to offer. little did they know they were talking to a one-of-a-kind, magical f*cking fairy goddess!
