I share your wisdom with my children. We live in what could be called a “hood”, but we are out here trying to love on people and tell them about Jesus. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, those he has rescued from the hand of the enemy. I went to the school of hard knocks myself. I wonder if they give out degrees?😂
🤣Girlllll, you and I have EARNED our degree. We don’t need them to give us one. God has brought us through those “hard knocks” and we yet holding on?!?!! The fact that we’ve made it through some of those close calls and are still committed to living for Him is our evidence that He is a keeper; a deliverer, a Savior; etc. Etc. Etc. This is so me!!! I have gotten so much closer to God getting in the word more and He's been changing me and changing my life. Everything I ask He has came through. Knowledge , wisdom, my marriage, just EVERYTHING! I quit smoking and it was ONLY Him because I couldn't! I catch myself still cussing (I always cussed like a sailor smh) and I'm working hard to stop it. I can't keep saying oops I cussed I have to change this right now to be the woman I'm working to be! Since I started focusing on it I catch myself more and that's a good sign I'm getting better. I love your honesty so much it's needed. I feel like cussing also makes me look angry as a woman and I don't want that either. I thank God for you and this message. It was like a trigger/sign also confirmation. I needed this reminder. My kids suggested I put rubber bands on my wrist and they pop me when I cuss lol so we'll be starting that because yes ma'am You're absolutely right thank you for this!
Hey Shugah!!🙋🏽♀️ I am SO proud of you for your victory over the cigarettes. Don’t forget to celebrate each season of victory. It seems now you’re in the season of working on the cussing. Don’t beat yourself up too bad. The fact that you have recognized and acknowledged the desire to get better in that area is exactly where God wants you to be. When you get to this point of awareness, it means you are ready to allow GOD to help you. And that is what He’s doing. He’s even using the children to help you through to your victory.
