This isn’t accurate. The Destiny Draw only lets him draw the cards when he needs them. We see this in the first duel with Kaiba, he doesn’t ZTK him, he draws it right before he’s about to lose. Basically, each match would be him looking like he’s badly losing, then getting Exodia on the final draw. Even more demoralizing.
It was actually genius writing to give Yugi Exodia for Episode 1 because it made him feel unstoppable to the audience. Then with him losing Exodia, it felt hopeless heading into Duelist Kingdom, which got the audience cheering for his comeback.
tbf it would have been just too OP. like he'd have the option to legit win any duel plainly getting all exodia on his hand and "zee hart off zeh cords" kinda guarantees that he draws correctly
the millennium puzzle can manipulate fate. all cards exist in a super position of being any card until it is drawn. he can force the quantum state to what he wants if he really feels for it. he quantumly entangles his feelings to the cards and wills it true. there are limits to his will power, but theoretically if it is fun to just screw people on draw, he could win every time without even playing anything.
The unedited version of this video has the Exodia rare hunter get cocky by saying hahahaha I have 3 pieces of Exodia in my hand only to get blown by Yugis deck stacking powers, Seekers reaction was priceless😂
Honestly his deck consistency probably improved by not having 4 bricks every single game. Although it would be interesting how the writers would’ve handled it.
Yugi has access to cheating, aka Heart of Cards, theoretically he can pull the 5 cards of Exodia at the beginning of every game and insta win even when it's not his turn.
Weevile, did Yugi a favor. Even though Weevile should have been disqualified too. Because the power to manipulate luck combined with Exodia, is just too OP.
