Love the way you format and make your videos for VRChat; definitely inspiring. I'm happy to find such a lucky gem roaming around vrc videos! Will def look forward to more stuff you put and hope to see your channel grow for the future! :3
The freedom of the platform makes it a little hard at times, but once you get use to it. You find yourself having a lot of fun and even learning new things. I myself love doing things like editing my dynamic bones while I'm wearing my avatar in live time.
You should come back and give it another try. Looks like this was done before the Settings UI overhaul. " I'd like to see a revisit with your thoughts on the new settings and changes.
I'm planning to! This video got a surge of attention after they dropped their trailer! x.x I'm already planning on trying it again some more, but I'm gonna attempt a follow-up video too whenever I get the time (hopefully, no promises).
hey friend first of all welcome to resonite second i enjoyed watching your video it gave me a good perspective on a new players experience and give me so ideas to chuck at the dev team some of wich include the tutorial not telling you how to delete undo or redo, not explaining the difference between deleting something in the inventory vs something in your hand, having the legacy inventory panel be a opt in option, having an overall tutorial on how to use your dash, fixing the incorrect button assignments telling you how to open the dash, the official resonite badges not having any notation, explaining that you don't need to calibrate your avatar if its just the default head and hands(you spent a long time messing with a tricky tool that would have never shown results) and how to add friends by using the laser to click there nametags
Just as a heads up, Resonite supports seamless transition from headset to desktop mode. You can take off your goggles and type on your keyboard and then go back into VR.
Personally, I don't like the hotswitching. If you need to idle for a bit for whatever reason, maybe you're making food, and you come back, you're in desktop mode and you see nothing in VR until you press F8 I think? I don't like that. Fortunately you can turn this off if you don't like it.
Protip: go to the Worlds tab in your menu, click "Active Sessions" in the sidebar, and join a populated setting. Once you meet an experienced player, a lit of issues are mitigated.
Something to note here is the settings menu is going to be replaced soon with a brand new one that is way better and way more user friendly so the settings menu you experienced here won't be here for long also another thing after the settings are done the full body IK system is gonna be completely rebuilt with a brand new in-house IK system so that will help with some of your issues there's currently a bug with RenderTransformOverride it basically causes your head to appear blurry because it is both the scale of 1, 1, 1 and 0, 0, 0 at the same time resulting in weird motion blur issues you can fix this by turning off motion blur in your camera settings
I'm looking forward to the changes! There's a ton here that has huge potential, I'm positive they'll take this platform to very good places. A settings page overhaul would be very welcomed, especially for ease of use.
@@BelgianWafflenew settings menu released. Also the current IK system and full body calibration was designed for one guy with one height for one type of avatar more or less, anything or one that doesn’t fit into that may have issues. As well as no proper hip rotation stock; this is planned to be fixed soon.
2:02 this noise that you just twitching the valves or switching the lever it must be the steam hissing on the front of the locomotive or the steam escapes on the bulge near the whistle this because it can be safe when you let the steam to escape otherwise it will be too much steam and cause the boiler to explode
Resonite is fun and rather aimed for creation and technical stuff, so I suggest folk to follow the tutorial until you come to the home, then spend some days in it to get used to it, for it is not like VRChat, and you can build things in Resonite and just import things directly from your computer without installing Unity and so on. The folk I meet there have been some of the coolest and friendliest in any VR world (I think).
I agree! I've spent so so SO much time in Resonite, and a big part of why I love it so much is the community. They're all so helpful and kind and fun! And most of them are pretty creative! I've started creating my own stuff in game too!
You can adjust the Guest Traits - Spawn Chance "Restaurant Lover" to be set to High. The Restaurant Expansions can be way up in the air within a taller structure if needed. They do not need to be on the ground and do not need paths to them.
