Planet Zoo vs Planet Coaster - Gameplay Atmosphere 

there is two completely different atmospheres when comparing a zoo to a theme park

The years between Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo's releases allowed Frontier to refine and introduce new features that the engine running Planet Coaster could not pull off! One of which includes the ability to properly rain in Planet Zoo!

Yep, can agree with all this.

I think with the last bit with not having to design anything is in part with what the games are. Planet zoo is well...A zoo game. Zoos have animals. And animals are alive and you can watch the animals in planet zoo for hours. Well at least I can. I can watch them grow. Build their families and breed. Watch them perish of old age. Etc. The animals add a lot more satisfaction with what you build at least for me. Because you can watch them navigate their environment. With planet coaster they have well..Rides and coasters. They aren’t alive. And yes you can watch the people ride but it’s a set motion. It’s the same thing over and over.

And then make a Planet Aquarium And Planet Water Park, Then combine all 4

Honestly what is point of planet coaster if you can get planet zoo And use the transport rides as coasters

One time i bought an elderly cheetah in franchise Planet Zoo, the poor thing died two seconds after going into my zoo in front of a massive crowd by the glass in which i became broke afterwards and it got shut down

Zoos are like prisons tho Like, those animals should be free in nature (or in a sanctuary or something) not in a zoo

Well they are both part of the planet series of games I guess you could call them. Why chance something that works as well. There’s no point.

I guess having similar art styles and gameplay styles is lazy now.

@@PinkAnxmal you soon will get used to the "stunning imagery" and the game to it's core isn't really that fun. So planet coaster is a better game, even tho it doesn't beat planet zoo's imagery. Well at least that's my thought.

@@sibidkid123 6 months since I commented that and still haven’t changed my mind. I’ve played both games and, personally, planet zoo’s gameplay has been much more fun. I guess for the general majority (gameplay wise) planet coaster is a bit more enjoyable, however, as an artist and aspiring zoologist, planet zoo is almost the perfect game for me!
