I just got one of these I’m wanting to figure out how to make it into a treadle as well because I don’t trust the 70 year old electrical. Do you have any tutorials on how to do it? Or know any RU-vidrs who do?
I am working on the first Hunter Star. I have everything cut out and it seems to be becoming together easily. The last technique looks easy too. Thanks for showing 3 different techniques for making the hunter star. It is one of my favorite stars.

Well the part that I really needed to see was the threading of the tension it seems like my spring saying was not in the same position as yours your arm was blocking it when I was trying to see it

Yes, I dropped the bobbin in, but HOW do I get the thread to get caught and pulled up by the top thread? I found the "notch" in the bobbin casing and got the bobbin thread in it.
Thanks for your video, I have to disassemble my 27, because my check spring broke. I am cleaning the parts very carefully. On my machine the shaft won't come out, question? does the shaft come out to clean inside?
I've had mine since 1982. It was a gift from my parents when I was expecting my first child. I have sewn everything on it. Does anyone know if I can lower the feed dogs to quilt with it with a free motion arm?
