I'm torn between the 17" 10 holes or the 17" chrome fan blades for my 86. I have stock polished 10 holes already on the car. Debating on changing it up
IMO 10 hole for sure; especially if you lower it 1” to 1.5”. 86 will look good… I don’t like anything lower then a 1.5”…that slammed look isn’t for me.
@@daredevil7442AUTOMOTIVE I did a 1.5" drop already. The rears sit perfect on a 255/60/15 tire. Just slightly tucked. The fronts would need another .5" to 1" drop to look right
I had a 440 6bbl 70 Roadrunner for about 10 years. 292°/.509 cam, headers, and went from the 3.56 to a 4.10 gear in the Dana 60 when I installed a 5 speed. 1,350 CFM, w/the outboard carbs @ 500 CFM each. What a rush when you roll into full throttle!
Nice video . I've never used any anti seize on an of my spark plugs or anything car parts in 35 years that I've been working on my own cars and I never plan too . I only use 3 in 1 oil or engine oil and always will . Never had an issue ever , with any seizing , in 35 years , using engine oil .
How long does it take to remove and install a new power steering pump? I took mine to a a garage to be worked on and they charged me 7 hours of labor! I feel like this excessive but wanted to get your opinion.
@@daredevil7442AUTOMOTIVE Agreed! Turns out they charged me twice for the same service. Thanks for taking the time to reply! She's back home where she belongs.
I think the c bodies need to be hard tops if you want the most style from the fuselage era. Sadly, everyone sent them to the crusher. The convertibles have the opposite problem -- everyone figured they will be highly collectible someday, so they preserved many, many examples. Because demand is lukewarm at best, ragtop prices are quite low. We're talking toyota corolla money for one that's pristine.
Hi, ill try to do this too and see if it will work, because mine takes long to shift and doesn't kick down the gear when i press the gas pedal all the way down, hope it works ,tvank you for the video, if somebody has passed my same problem ill thank the suggestions ty
Depends on how bad your rust is? Minor rust you’ll be able to maybe repair it? From in side of the wheel well /tire side. If the frame or anything else is rusted? Motor needs to be pulled to do it right. Good luck
I'm a little surprised there isn't a laser etched ruler on the adjustment legs. I'm guessing they figure anyone that would buy these would have a tape measure.
Fantastic video, thanks for sharing your adventure and details about the experimentation process. I took your advice and got a calk gun rated for 26:1 thrust. Thanks again.
Gustave was a brilliant man. Take a look at that engine. It does not look like a gasoline engine.. It looks more like a steam engine. How did it work?. I would be very interested in that. I think it did work but I just don't know how it worked. Did it run on steam or compressed air or compressed gas or something else? A .Stanley Steamer set a speed record in 1905. The drover had to ease of of the throttle because the car was starting to get airborne.
@@daredevil7442AUTOMOTIVE I did it to mine but had no Camara to record and everyone says it's easy but it was difficult, I did notice that nobody has done it on the 3.2L and also mine is a 94 but it was not easy at all. A few things did change over the years like some metal lines for some sort of vacuum connector and also the wire harness had to be unplugged and it was hard to get to since it was down by the valve cover on the firewall with no room but anyway thats why I asked.
so what was the problem with it, the piston thing, or the valve it was kinda unclear but i grasped it somewhat. and did you ever figure out what that spring was to
my other 4.3 s10 1996 has 750,000 miles and runs good stock everything. my other s10, 2000 i replaced the heads with 400,000 miles runs good. my zr2 1999 s10 still runs good 300,000. sea ya next season son
Hey daredevil7442, at 10:10 you said the "brown" wire wont fit so you filed down the cap? What does the other side of the brown wire connect to? On my 84 L83, there's nothing plugged into it.
There aint a damn thing wrong with these...name brand are way overpriced and much of it is due to warranty built into the price 😅 Mishimoto are great 👍 Lifetime warranty even if you get into a wreck and it totally destroys the radiator they're gonna replace it!! $400!!! Yeah Right..that $400 represents that unlimited warranty 😂 its built into that figure
I added a true dedicated transmission cooler after the radiator ports stripped out during installation...goood idea because a transmission rebuilt aint cheap these days 😞 the factory set up aint a freakin transmission cooler anyways 😂 its a joke
