My Moroccan friend was angry with me over text. We talk in French as usual, but I did not tell him I started these lessons. 😉So when the discussion was heated, I did not know what to say, just texted: mashi muskil to calm things down. I have never told him anything in Arabic before. It worked like magic. He suddenly changed so much. He did not want to argue and he even apologized. Next time I met him, he even mentioned to me again, that I wrote it in Moroccan Arabic.
this is awesome , but for instance layla ssa3ida is standard arabic. Please don't intrude standard arabic into darija because it is not. And if somebody says to me as a moroccan layla ssa3ida I will laugh and find it cringe because it's simply not darija. Thanks for the videos though you're doing amazing.
Assalmualikum! If you are Muslim and came their and think that after learning standerd Arabic you will understand some of the Quran then today's Arabic language is diffrent from the language that was 1400+ years before. So learn classical Arabic language to understand the Quran and learn standard Arabic language to speack with your Arabs friends.
Salam Aleykum , Thanks for the great video! I'm still learning too and just starting out. I have a question about No. 85. Maybe this is a mistake in the Video: With "Khsni N'MShee" you actually say "I have to go", right? With "Bret N'Mshee" you would rather say "I want to go". Would be glad to get a answer
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7lbMhFDN4QY.htmlsi=dfLZDvZwZ2tF2LTz Can someone translate the arabic being sung in this song? Thanks in advance.
I'm so excited to be learning Darija. I'm half Moroccan but I was raised in America and completely seperated from my Moroccan family for 11 years. I'm 17 now and going to stay with my family in Morocco for a month soon! Thinking of applying to Mohammed VI and living with my dad there. This channel is so helpful and its nice to see other half Moroccans here also trying to reconnect :)
I think it is perfect, considering the producer has a high English level, so he could have introduced some subtle meanings out in English to make me understand; also, the writing combination of sound “ayn” in Arabic letter and others in latin letter is one of the smart ways under this case to make viewers better understand. Shukran!
Is there letter P in Maroccan Arabic? I mean the word plombi how is written in Arabic. In Persian language there is letter P and it is written with a b but 3 dots under. I wonder if there are other letter variants in Arabic dialects.
This is amazing! Shokran lek 😊 There's one little error...it should say "I agree" or "I'm in agreement with you" & "I don't agree" or "I'm not in agreement with this/ you"
I’m half moroccan and always went to Morocco for Vacation, 9 times there and still haven’t learned one single word in Moroccan.. 😭😭 learning moroccan so I don’t have to speak in English or French with my cousins and fam
