Check out Maddie's Pearls here - etsy.com/shop/MaddiesPearls - I am addicted to oyster shucking and I am a massive pearl hoarder. I love shucking oysters and finding the pearls inside and I thought you would too so I opened my Etsy shop so I could offer amazing deals on my genuine Akoya oysters with pearls inside and accessories to all of you! Pearl parties are super expensive to attend but my pearl parties at home are a *very* affordable alternative that is just as much fun!
Those pearls are dyed and stuffed back into dead shells. Those colors dont exist naturally. Natural pearls are the same color as the inside of their shells. Also the meat is all shriveled since the oyster is dead.
Most of them are fresh water pearls even dipped fakes integrated in dead shells but definitely not akoya pearl believe me and if you send some of them to GIA for certification they will confirm it
Pinky purple is called heliotrope. It gets its name from the heliotrope flower. Swarovski has crystals this color and name I believe ( I might have some in my jewelry making supplies). You asked in an earlier video about oyster genders. Oysters start out as male, then after about a year they become female, and generally stay female for the remainder of their lives, but they can return to being male if they choose. I guess the majority don't change back to male. Oysters have both male and female reproductive organs (intersexed), so they can fertilize their own eggs. ( The song " Sisters are doing it for themselves " is now playing in my head, 😄).
