You did not mention chrome tire valves & if there were any issues with using them with your oem TPMS sensors. I just bought the exact same wheels for my '15 GC Overland. My tires are Nitto Nomad Grapplers, as I am in Colorado...so lots of off-roading year round. I bought my set directly from OE website for about $150 more. They should be here tomorrow. Good to hear the chrome finish is still holding up.
Visited this church today….and walked out! Both my girlfriend and I felt convicted by the Spirit get out. No one was welcoming, friendly, and we received many threatening stares! Hi! Sorry for the slow reply. My vision hasn't degraded any in years and hasn't improved either. I've simply not been faithful to do the work to improve my vision and I'm still working as an engineer, during which time I spend 90% of my day staring at a monitor. Ugh.
There is a factory rake because of payload requirements. If you fit 4 grown adults or a small trailer it will squat the rear end. Even with the automatic level adjustment of the air ride, it still needs to be higher in the rear than the front otherwise the vehicle will become unstable at certain speeds. Not only is your wheel alignment based on this but also your axles. I don't think it's dangerous to do this mod and it absolutely looks better but the mod doesn't take into account all the engineering thoughts. Ideally if they needed a rake in the suspension, I think they could have designed the fender openings to be a little lower. In the SRT models, the fender flares do cover more so at minimum SRT thought about it a little.
The more weight I put in mine the more the bags pump up and keep it level the more tongue weight I add again the more pit pumps up I never swat eve. With being leveled I don’t have any issues just to let ya know
Hi. At 20th second the noise seems to be by the suspension? I noticed my Jeep frequently makes the same noise because lifts even turned off on flat garage ground and not moved for days. Anyone else with the same behaviour?
Thanks for the video and I was looking for such info as I am planning to change my stock 20 rim with 18 rim and get this tire size. The problem with 2019 summit is that the fender flares are more wider which I think I need to modify them to fit them without issues.
@ralphgomez78 I did with no problems. I installed 18×8 +40 Offset Rims (OEM is 20×8 +56) with 285/60R18 120T XL Nitto Ridge Grappler. I went with T rating for the weight and speed rating.

I just put a set of landspyder all terrain tires on my 2011 hemi grand and I love them. They are also a hybrid tire in between an at and a Mt tire. I went with a taller tire as well buying a 265 65 18 tire and I love them. I tried them out in deep snow last week and my jeep went like a tank. It's definitely better to have aggressive tires on a 4wd jeep
That’s the size I’ve been looking for! Mine is a 2015 also, still have the 265/60/18’s on it. The only difference is my Jeep is murdered out, all black! Yours looks cool with the bigger tires on it!
what happends when you take it to the dealer and have the module replaced and you have to do a relearn on the height sensors? if the technicians do not know you did this they may not be able to set the ride height properly again and it will/may not be able to set the hight properly. this could cause a lot of frustration.
I'm impressed you took this on. But you didn't actually show removing or reinstalling these tubes (these are tubes, right?), or which tools were used. It is encouraging that you didn't have to remove the wheels. And, btw, for headlight adjustment, which direction do you turn it to raise it up and how much difference does a half turn make?

I've been searching for perfect rims for my grand cherokee for a lil while now and I've been on the fence until I came across this video. I ordered the same exact rims in chrome and can't wait til they get here. Love this video, it help out tremendously with my decision.
Question? Are these tires bad on Jeep’s transmission? I was told not to get the nitto tires due to how heavy they are and that they can be bad for jeeps transmission. I have a jeep grand Cherokee Overland 2017.
@@TonyHepp Thanks, I was planning on asking them later on Friday my local Jeep dealership. I ordered some from Walmart and when I went to go too if they had arrived, the mechanic guy was telling me that they could put stress on the transmission and I should think about that before I get them on! I did a little research and I can’t find anything that says that! Idk but I’ll do what you suggested! Thanks for the reply!!
I am preparing to do this same fix but question is - will it not affect or damage air bags when ride on off-road 2 option, air bags will be stretch in that option probably above maximum working capacity ????
