Great information. Should I do this to Ranger? (Aussiedoodle) that you groomed for me a few months ago, Instead of clipping. When his coat gets long and wavy he tends to shed if I don’t brush him daily.
Sorry for the late response! Poodles and Doodle mixes have a different type of coat than a double coated dog. It is very important for them to have regular grooming and baths and be blown dry and completely brushed and combed out regular to prevent matting. Also with poodles/ doodle mixes, clipping or shaving their coats will not ruin their hair.
I love this idea! So many times with Lizzie I'll think "oh I wish I could call Paul, he would know"! A lesson on dog fear and anxieties would be awesome as that's what we are dealing with now. i.e. storm sounds, fireworks, sudden loud noises, etc.
