Hi everyone. Here I will post video clips of Estonian emergency vehicles: Police , Fire Dept. , EMS and Military police.
Estonia is a state in the Baltic region of Northern Europe. It is bordered to the north by the Gulf of Finland, to the west by the Baltic Sea, to the south by Latvia , and to the east by the Russian Federation .
let us hope that when the renovation takes place they have sufficient amount of brains to install red lights or some sort of automated system to block traffic while the firetrucks are departing, right now this exit and re-entery is stationed at the most narrow and up most of jammed street there is in central city, the new 1-2 changeable street system made that narrow strip even wrose then it was before.
So an idiot was smoking a cigarette under the fire alarm and it went off? Lucky that it was a false alarm, otherwise you would've been in a deep sh*t. Nice collection of different fire trucks though. Respect to those guys.
@@EstonianRescueServices One of my friends lived in such a building where an automatic fire alarm was installed. A false alarm usually meant that somebody went to the hallway to have a cigarette and then the alarm went off. It stopped when they managed to find out who the dumbass was and forced him to pay for the responses the emergency vehicles had to do because of him (an official bill was sent to the guy).
Hi man! love your videos from Barcelona. 2 questions: - what is the difference between white red and yellow ambulances? - the bomb squads are Politsei, KAPO, or Paaste? Keep uploading videos ;) love Estonia!
Hello, Thank you! 1) That's a very good and difficult question. Before ordinary ambulances (BLS) used white & red colors only, when reanimobiles (ALS) used yellow color only. That makes sense. As far as I know there are no diffirences/restrictions in use now. By the Law the main color of an ambulance must be white or yellow. The tailgate, hood and front doors must be painted in red. Regular ambulances usually use white/red colors as they did before as well as reanimobiles usually use yellow colors with marks "Reanimobiil" instead of "Kiirabi". But we also have one private ambulance company (Karell Kiirabi) that uses yellow color on all their ambulances with marks "Kiirabi" what can make you confused. Nowadays you can also find new reanimobiles in white/red colors, so there might be no diffirences in colors right now. 2) The bomb squad (EOD) belongs to Estonian rescue board (Päästeamet). Until 2019 they were not allowed to have and use firearms as they were in the same department with the firefighters. In 2019 The Ministry of Internal Affairs has sent for approval a draft law that allows EOD members to carry a firearm while on duty and use it for self-defence only.
Yellow ambulances belong to biggest hospital in Tallinn and also in Estonia, they mostly offer service outside the city, in Harjumaa county, and white/red ones offer service in Tallinn, capital city. And mostly matters which one happens to be the closer one.
@@emergencias_yuc we must wear it in stores, public transport and other crowded places. But no restrictions about the street. Maybe the government will change something in nearest future...
@@nordicemergencyrespondings7896 In Estonia we handled the Corona virus pretty well actually, so there was a period where we would get about 0-10 cases a day (about Mid-June to Mid-October), so there really wasn't a big need for masks. Near the past two weeks or so it's gotten way worse, we're having about 150-200 cases a day (Population is only 1 million people). People mostly wear masks when inside in a closed room, don't know why.
