@@davidkerr2285 Thanks a lot mate, sorry for the late answer i was out making a camping movie. I thought on trying some different genres of music and see if people like it better
Thanks for the review. I ordered 6 wt last night and it should be here tomorrow. I’m a new fly fisherman and the first coupe of lines I bought were $100.00 each, I couldn’t afford another $100.00 on a floating line. Learning to cast with sinking lines has been tough.
It is a very nice affordable fly line indeed, let me know what you think of it. I’ve been fly fishing about 30 years and did like how essy it was to manage
@@jonas_flies I’m new to fly fishing so I don’t have much experience with fly lines. I’ve been fly fishing for only about a month with sinking lines for the surf here in San Diego California. I was having a hard time casting the sinking lines. I tried out the new line this morning and had a much more enjoyable experience. It was really easy to manage and it seemed to not kink up like my other lines. I also caught my first fish on the fly with the new line! A small San Diego bonefish. Wish I could share the pic with you. Without your review of the line I would not have gone out this morning. I owe my first fish to you, thank you so much for your videos.
@@bb3866 i’m so very happy it did work out that well for you and that you got your first fish on a fly wow nice 👏🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤗 i’m so happy for you and now it will be so much more fun. Enjoy the time fly fishing and tying flies tight lines brother 🙏
@@davidkerr2285 not a bad tent at all big not to hard to setup, just want to test it in some rain over a night to be 100% . Meanwhile looking at some inflatable tents 😂 they can be big i noticed with a wood stove that would be perfect for winter camping 🤗 it’s pretty nice here we got so much space a bit bigger than all of Ireland and UK togheter but with 85% forest and lakes
I agree did it since i had wife and the old dog with me and the river was dangerous x5 more water than normal. But not bad just relaxing in the quiet forest
What an absolute beautiful country, at one with nature. Are you allowed to kayak on them lakes ?. Sad to see that even in such a beautiful place you still get absolute scumbags painting on the Cabin🤬🤬🤬
@@davidkerr2285 it is very nice huge amount of forest and places where you can hear nothing but the nature. In most lakes you could use a kayak in this area we where there is over 400 lakes and a huge lots of streams and rivers. Just in that small part If Sweden you can spend a life time fishing not covering all waters. It sad to see everyone has to put their mark on the cabins out in the woods instead of taking care of it.
Thanks a lot 🙏 we did sleep ok a bit crowded it’s just 140 cm wide but ok for a few days. For longer trips i add our annex and use an air bed inside there as well
What an absolute beautiful country you live in , it looks like yous had a wonderful trip, apart from the Salmon not showing up, but it's not all about catching.👌🏻
@@jonas_flies Really nice video Jonas. The state of this years salmon fishing is a disaster, my river is closed fully until i dont know when. Lets hope its get better soon
Takk for omvisningen Jonas! Nettopp kjøpt meg Wildland Desert Cruiser 140 taktelt, og kan ikke vente med å få testet. Den Oasis 180 markisen så veldig bra ut. Fortsatt fornøyd med den? :)
It’s an Asian company shipping world wide focusing on fishing and hunting and building up their product range. Been trying their pruducts for 3-4 years now 👍
I’ve had a pair of waders and a fly west good stuff indeed so will be nice to try their rods and reels/lines so very much looking forward to it. It was all ready with backing, fly line and leader just tie on the fly so fantastic
Wow absolutely beautiful place, and how much easier it is with the roof tent. Beautiful set up buddy, the tube fly wallet is lovely ! What kind is it ? What a breakfast 😊👍2nd spot was absolutely beautiful was it a privately owned fishery or is it government ? Looks like a successful trip
Stunning areas for sure, the setup works very well and makes a few weeks out in the forest possible without any big issues. The fly wallet is from Art Merk he makes great fly wallets and a lot of options he made the one i have my classic salmon flies in as well. I think lake is managed by the local fishing counsil we just pay a license and are able to fish there.
The quality of that camera is pretty nice. I used to have a pop-up camper on my truck, and it was a pain to put it down to move locations. Can you show us the take down process on your setup? Why did you prefer this over a trailer? You guys are really "roughing it!"
I did shoot most of it with my IPhone just added a wireless mic too it. Next time i will pur the mic on my hat instead. I will do a setup and pack down video and upload it. I prefer the quick setup of the roof top tent under a minute without the annex. You also need less space, if its cold the trailer is better. You also restricted in speed carrying a trailer here to 80km/h
Hello Jonas. I'm starting to tying the fly tubes. A basic question: how long is the tube and approximately what’s the length of the finished fly. Thank for your help 😋.
Hi Laurent i do mix sizes so i have like large, medium and small tube flies so on large i use a tube about 3-4 cm and the wing is about 10cm i want the hook to end up about in the middle of the fly and i use a rubber tube in the back of the tube to attach the hook in. With that in mind you can easily scale down keeping the ratio. Happy tying 👍🤗
Thanks a lot my friend will improve on the content part and try a few more gears out was so cold in the night the spring is slow this year. We think it was a Capercaillie hen now was talking to my fishing buddy who is a hunter as well. Very strange location for that bird to be at they are normaly up north 🤗🤗
That was just marinated ribeye gets it dark color from the marinade im using. Was talking to a friend of mine who hunt birds and he told me its a Capercaillie hen which is normaly just up north never seen one down here before 🤗🤗 That is why i thought it was a pheasant hen
@jonas_flies just kidding about the reindeer! The capercaillie is a member of the grouse family but larger than most of the North American grouse, so I could see thinking it was a pheasant.
@@tinoyb9294 i never seen one down here where i live so it diden’t even come to mind when i saw it and so close and not walking of was staying next to us for about one hour almost
Jonos, good evening, tell me what kind of feathers are you reeling in at the end?? Which bird has the grooves?, Jonos, good evening, tell me what kind of feathers are you reeling in at the end?? from which bird are the grooves?, thank you🤝
Good morning, no, not a duck, but a separate element, a single beard at the end of the tie Good morning, no, not a duck, but a separate element, a single beard at the end of the fly tie🤝
