First night in our Wildland desert cruiser roof top tent out camping

Just trying all gear out having our first night in our roof top tent. We stayed at a regular camping as a start the weather is still very cool during in the nights and morning in the morning we expect a lot of rain.

Brilliant set up mate. What was the pheasant up to?? Probably waiting for you to harvest some hackles !! Good content, interesting.

Thanks a lot my friend will improve on the content part and try a few more gears out was so cold in the night the spring is slow this year. We think it was a Capercaillie hen now was talking to my fishing buddy who is a hunter as well. Very strange location for that bird to be at they are normaly up north 🤗🤗

Thanks a lot 🙏 we did sleep ok a bit crowded it’s just 140 cm wide but ok for a few days. For longer trips i add our annex and use an air bed inside there as well

Is that reindeer meat?😊 I think that bird was a grouse, pretty tame.

That was just marinated ribeye gets it dark color from the marinade im using. Was talking to a friend of mine who hunt birds and he told me its a Capercaillie hen which is normaly just up north never seen one down here before 🤗🤗 That is why i thought it was a pheasant hen

@jonas_flies just kidding about the reindeer! The capercaillie is a member of the grouse family but larger than most of the North American grouse, so I could see thinking it was a pheasant.

@@tinoyb9294 i never seen one down here where i live so it diden’t even come to mind when i saw it and so close and not walking of was staying next to us for about one hour almost

Takk for omvisningen Jonas! Nettopp kjøpt meg Wildland Desert Cruiser 140 taktelt, og kan ikke vente med å få testet. Den Oasis 180 markisen så veldig bra ut. Fortsatt fornøyd med den? :)

Tack som tittade 🙏 det är ett riktigt trevligt taktält, Oasis 180 är riktigt trevlig sitter ute och fiskar nu och njuter av en öl under markisen.
