I believe the color you're meaning to say is ORANGE.. not yellow. I'm sorry to point out the obvious, but there were so many things wrong in the steps you took to try to tone your hair to try and make it that blonde that you wanted. The first obvious, major mistake was that your hair was waaaay too dark to start. It literally has to be a pale yellow before you begin. Yours was orange. And sadly it's still orange. It was never going to work girl...

Unless I missed the reasoning (I fast forward through the talking in the beginning 😬) anyway yeah never supposed to brush your hair with bleach …. It’s thee WORST idea ever…. Your hair is sooooo fragile when it has bleach in it so wether u have bleach already in it or your brushing the bleach through it’s probably just a terrible idea. Looking forward to seeing how it tunes out tho. 🤞🏼

This product doesn’t lift natural pigment so if you colored your natural level 3 hair black it’s not going to lighten you past what the developer in the black color lifted you. And if the black color was a demi then you have almost no lift at all. If you’re trying to get a medium or light brown balayage look you’re going to need to use lightener and then a toner to neutralize the warmth that’s going to be exposed
oh my goodness I LOVE your dark hair! I haven't seen the end result yet, but please know you look great with dark hair. I just had mine colored dark and it looks horrible against my pale skin. :(
Im a stylist myself, and i can not get this stubborn semi blue out of my hair, i did the diy mix, and a color remover which took alot of the color out,its still there😣 Do you think i could do a bleach bath with Olaplex to remove it🤔?! I know this is an older video so you probably won't see this, but i came across it from searching Olaplex bleach baths lol you are tge only person ive seen use this method!! Thanks!!
I don't recommend bleaching just yet. When my hair was blue, I bleached it and it turned light green which was almost impossible to get out. Have you tried the vitamin C method? A few treatments of that may get it out. Remove as much blue as possible and then try a bleach wash, would be my advice. Good luck.
@@howsoonisnow87 after 1 color remover and 3 bleach baths later, im back to platinum blonde, only with Olaplex!! If it wasn't for that my hair would be mush! Thanks 😊 i will never use this brand of semi permanent color ever again! Others are much easier for me to get out,this one was stubborn!
@@haleysperbeck5972 I'm so glad you got it out! I used Ion aqua and it was a total pain to get out! I've also used punky color and it wasn't an issue to remove. I'm glad your hair is still in good condition too :)

I think you are getting hot roots (lighter roots) because using a hair cap concentrates more heat at your scalp. Try it without a cap next time and you might get more even colors.

I gotta give you props for having, probably, the BEST sectioning and application technique I've ever seen on a RU-vid video! Its super hard to bleach/tone/dye one's own hair, but you prove it CAN be done. Btw- your hair turned out beautiful. Great job, girl!!

Very pretty! You still around? I just bleached my Bob length hair.. so orange. I have T-11 T-18 and T 28 toners. I haven’t touched yet😂 I like the golden beach blonde. Thinking maybe 1/4 T-18 1/4 T-28 🤞🏻. Well long shot lol! And I’m liking you’re color . I like the contrast of darker roots and blonde.. so 😵💫🤭😂 Wondering just tone this orange head first? Never start from the top hun, thats your only mistake . Do it again starting from the back of Your head and apply starting from the ends then the roots last and it will even out and all be 1 color .
I used color oops back in February 2019 (it is not May 2019) and for ME it stripped literally all the color out. Now I'm back to my natural color the only thing I've noticed was it seemed to have stunt my hair growth. My hair has always grown very fast but after using color oops my hair has not grown very much since!
Your about dumb 😂🤦🏼♀️ the hair color chart is if your hair looked like the before blonde ... it doesn’t go off your blonde so duhh obv it’s not going to be the same color 💀 bc your hair wasn’t the same color as there blonde
Will any hair colour remover remove your actual hair color like bleach it or will it just take out the hair dye cause my natural hair cold or is medium brown and I died it black but I don’t like it
