Hi everyone, So I decided to try out this Malibu cpr pigment remover to see how well it can remove artificial color dye and it did pretty good! went from black to brown in just a couple hours! Thanks for watching
Great video. Just wanted to add that I am a cosmetology instructor and master colorists. This product works wonders if used with Malibu shampoo un do goo which is recommended in the directions. Also, works best on damp hair which allows for better saturation of the crystals. Best thing about this product is that it will not damage your hair like some of the other color removing products, but it can dry it out a little if used too much. Which is no biggie compared to some products that will completely ruin the hairs integrity.
This product doesn’t lift natural pigment so if you colored your natural level 3 hair black it’s not going to lighten you past what the developer in the black color lifted you. And if the black color was a demi then you have almost no lift at all. If you’re trying to get a medium or light brown balayage look you’re going to need to use lightener and then a toner to neutralize the warmth that’s going to be exposed
Healthy hair take patience and just removing that one level of colour before using a peroxide lightener is going to save your hair from so much damage! It creates a clean healthy pallet to use lighteners and colours on more easily. And even with the bad lighting in your bathroom, I could still tell it went from black to dark brown. I love Malibu! An amazing product ❤️ I use it for myself, my coworkers and my clients ❤️
Pahahaaa. I’m literally laying here on my bed, with a bag over my head and a blow dryer propped up on a pillow. Just wanted to see how others do it at home 😂 great minds think alike
and my black hair is sort of faded and it’s been a long time since i touched up my roots probably about 3 months , would this lift a lot of color out of my hair or would it not work because it’s been dyed for so long
