Hello! Welcome to my channel dedicated to tie-dye and everything related to dyeing!
I started dyeing a few months after the war began, and it's been a wonderful form of art therapy for me. I'm constantly learning and sharing my dyeing experiences!
Subscribe, it's interesting here :)
Also, I make custom orders, so feel free to reach out via email or social media
Не все так просто! Вот так сложить изделие, да ещё высокофигурно замотать бечевкой - мало кто сможет. И краски нужны специальные, и, наверняка, последующая обработка после окраски!
Good thing closed captioning is in English.I have been looking closely at the dye content for work that I really would like to learn to do. This guy's attention to detail and coolness is infectious.
So that the colors do not mix, it is necessary to separate the areas in the mandalas well, make them larger. If at the same time the paint does not saturate the fabric well - you need to experiment with a thickener, use a lower concentration
Fantastic shirt and an even better video. I slowed it down so I can catch all the action. Thank you so much. I know this is hard for you to make the videos, but they are well appreciated.❤️😁✌️
Do you use thickener in your dyes? My son has been trying over and over to get a good honeycomb mandala but he either ends up with colors mixing or not enough saturation. Is there a magic formula you know of? Any tips would be most appreciated! Also, you're very talented; amazing work!
Thank you! Yes, I use it and understand what you are talking about. Unfortunately, there is no magic formula, you have to experiment and change the concentration of the thickener as needed. I have now changed shirts I dyeing on and my usual concentration turned out to be insufficiently penetrating. And when I dye socks, the fabric is soft and more thickener is needed Experiment, make different concentrations and see how it changes the final result. In time, everything will work out!
Beautiful work! My little girl and I want to try to make a cool design like this for fun! May I ask what the difference is between the two types of string you are using? You’re a tie dye genius and I love your work. Many blessings to you!
Thanks, glad you found it useful. I use a thin thread to pre-tie the fabric, and a thicker thread to separate the fabric into separate parts that will be dyed with different colors.
This is so fantastic to see the method for the mandala and the application of the die. You are an amazing talent and thank you so much for sharing. I have been seeing the results of this style for a couple of years hoping for an actual tutorial on HOW to do this. Thank you Thank you thank you.
this is a strong synthetic thread for sewing shoes. they don't sell sinew in my country, it's just an alternative. if you have access to sinew- it is better to use it)
Wow, you're crazy❤. Bro, uour skill wery unuzual.
Yes, I mix one dye base with a concentration of about 5 grams of alginate per liter and then make all the colors with it. Good saturation of mandalas takes time. I apply layers of dye, wait for the fabric to saturate and add more. I repeat this until it is enough. But I don't always succeed either, I'm working on it)
