Trying to learn airlaw from a book was just pointless for me as i just lost interested and didnt take any of the information in. But having someone talk it through and explain it like yourself has made it that bit more interesting and i was able to think back to parts of the video. I thank you so much for helping me finally consume some of this dull topic!
Thanks Dave! I passed law - thank you! navigation next and loved the slides- one thing I know is practice practice practice! thanks mate- any cpl help coming? particulary tech/principles
Hey mate I’d like to say a huge thanks for all the help you have been , the three subjects you have covered in detail here I have passed as a result and I’m stoked so cheers Dave !
Mate!! Thanks heaps. It's comments like this that have made this tiny little channel worth the effort, I know the the sound is poor, I know the quality is rough, I'm no professional youtuber, but most of you out there get what I am trying to achieve here, and for that I thank you all. (Especially for putting up with my sarcasm on air law). It's these comments, which I highly encourage, that make me glad that I put this up for our little community. Never did I think we would amass 1k subscriber's as it was only aimed at people that learn in a visceral way like myself. So thank you all for the great feedback and please let me know what else we want up on here. Fly safe and remember that there is nothing lower than a grounded pilot!
@@NZPPLDave I fly out of Ashburton airfield. Focusing on night flying at the moment, as the weather allows me to. Definitely want to get more experience flying in and out of controlled airports. My last daytime flight was up to Christchurch airport, which I really enjoyed.
@@NZPPLDave The microphone sounds as if you’re far and becomes very hard to hear you. Your notes are good to listen to when I’m driving; so the background noise just drowns your voice out - even when I have my car audio on maximum. Kindly take as constructive criticism to make your material even better; comment really meant to upbuild. Thanks
Thanks very much for all Your efforts in putting together these videos, Dave! I've managed to get through 5 of the PPL Exams so far without fail. Super excited to crush this Law exam and getting stuck into some hours. Massive Thank You again!!
Hi Dave, exceptionally helpful videos! Are the remaining Air Law lessons available elsewhere online? Totally understand if you haven't had the time to make them.
As you can imagine through the fact that once qualified we can fly in most countries that most of this is transferable, the only exception is that the air law exam may be different depending on where you are in the world
So I got all of the questions correct but that's because I'm good with memorizing things. Isogonal still doesn't make sense to me.... but I know the definition. In fact, in general I'd love more visual examples of how to apply these concepts to navigation. As in, maybe animations showing what these terms look like in real life or on a map.
Appreciate the effort into these videos Dave. I just wish your microphone was louder so I could soak up this info while I work. Volume maxed out on my headphones and can barely hear you on these last few lessons.
Thank you Dave, Im studying for my UK NPPL and the books have caused my brain to melt and make me want to headbutt a pencil. I'll have a listen again the rest of the week to help me sleep. Seriously though, thanks I'll have another look through the books and now (although I'm aware there will be a couple of differences in the UK notes) as they should make a lil more sense. P. S, you have earned my subscription ✌️
Glad you found it useful, for some it's the only way to learn as we are audio and visual people. Do reading from a book can be so much harder. Please help out the channel by liking each video, subscribe, tell others who this might help and as these videos are not funded by adverts, so buy me a beer on Patreon
That makes it all worth while. Don't forget to subscribe, like and share with others who might benefit. And if you feel the love, buy me a beer on Patreon 😅
The methods used for air nav and flight planning is generally the same all over the world, hence international pilots, talk to your CFI for things unique to your country.
This true, if I ever become a professional RU-vidr I will make sure I can afford better recording software and hardware. 😂 This channel isn't monitised, and if it ever did, I wouldn't use my Mac and PowerPoint to do these videos. But I hope these help never the less.
