Honourable mention to the prototype Spider-Man suit used on set in Captain America: Civil War, which used a spider symbol with all eight legs pointing down like in the early comics.
You know, at first. When I saw the show it was pretty good and I was like. Why am I watching this show and then? I saw this video instanthough and has connections to the MCU I'm like. Okay, I'm interested.
@@Lucas_real7898YT It’s a universe where the Avengers exist, but it is not the MCU. Despite connections it seems to be a branched timeline. One major example is SHIELD still existing and Maria Hill being alive
But this show is Very Marvel accurate, season 2 proves that. And I will be not surprised that the beyonder will be the. Same in MCU. Let's wait Iron Heart and Sasha misterious role 😅
I think there is a question nobody is asking is "If moon girl and devil dinosaur is canon to the MCU, then when does it take place?" Because 1. S.H.I.L.D. is no more after the events of the Winter Soldier, and 2. Agent Maria Hill was shot in secret invasion, and 3. (Spoiler alert) There was some other cameos said in season 2
There's nothing wrong with dollar books, great run fillers, interesting stories and some gems. the unfortunate thing is when you get interested in a series due to a bargain bin find, it's now on your checklist for future buys. Nice finds!
No sh!+ you are in Mich, I am from Farmington Hills. I am looking to return after I find work to get out of the Denver area, messed up here... I do not recommend Denver at all lol!
Killer Silver Surfer 1 reader-copy, very nice! Congrats on the buy, just do it, cuz then you can always bring some things in for store credit as well. So, FYI, the Paper Trail used bookstore in Royal Oak used to be called something else, but they have comics there FYI...
@@SequentialGeek Aye! That’s cool! Always nice to connect with some local people, hopefully you can find some work here soon then! And I always try to stop at Paper Trail and that record store that’s right over there too. Prices are hit or miss, but always nice to check out some comics lol
@@KnowYourMarvelNews That record shop down the way does have some options, but the prices are hit or miss for me, pretty cool $hit tho. There are some shops that have closed down since I have been in Mich three and a half yrs ago, but I'd recommend Stadium Cards n Comics in Ypsi, or perhaps -I worked at Summit Comics for a week during FCBD then I had a job offer so I had quit, lol! the manager was pissed, but the new job paid like more than double, they are okay >buuuut, ya gotta check out off Mich Ave in Lansing "Stephen's Way" ya enter and park in the back, it is on the same block as some venue and a place that sells slices -it's a used bookstore from the front entrance... any way, the back's got mad comics... really both those shops may be worth the commute... FYI !
Nice thrift haul, good vid. Im new to your channel, but Im looking for new peeps to meet and become acquainted with. Please check out my playlists btw, but Im a new sub, so what up. I mainly collect indie books or Copper Age or NuMarvel era books, I did last year display my original long box collection, but it's after I picked through stuff twenty years ago, there used to be around eleven or twelve long boxes but they are now seven. Any way, Im gonna check out more of your vids, but I get that my vids are long most people tell me that's why I dont have any views that and because Im boring lol! so yeah, oh well, I plan on dong 69 haul vids. Thanks for the share, man. Peace
Yo Mark Bagley covers are dope, the early Ultimate comics stuff have a low print run, but the covers stand out, I think that was part of Bill Jemas, love him or hate him, he knew how to make the covers 'presentable' to mainstream curiosity/spending... Cool Hardware still in the polybag -those are becoming very rare... Marvel Milestone are among my favs -the "Marvel Milestones" with an "s" were around 2005 I think...
We've had the MCU voice actors in Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble(lego games too), that doesn't mean Drake Bell's Spider-Man is the MCU's Spider-Man.
Would be awesome to see Tom, but unfortunately seems like if a Spidey shows up he’ll probably be voiced by Hudson Thames. Ryan would be fun too! My off-the-wall hope would be for a Big Hero 6 appearance
Thank you! And yeah, once and a while I’ll treat myself to an ASM book for my run, but usually gotta feed the addiction in a much cheaper way lol, glad I’m not alone in that
Nice Pick Ups!! That Spider-Woman #1 is Julia Carpenter's Spider Woman first solo title. Astonishing Tales 5 is a cool cover. Those Defenders issues are awesome!! You are correct that 98 is the first ultimate Spider Woman Jessica Drew.
Oh yeah! Thank you! I knew Spider-Woman was a key for something but, as you can tell, I didn’t really put any research into double checking this video since it was all smaller books lol. But yeah, that Astonishing Tales 5 is one of my favorites from the haul! Love that series and that cover! Thanks for watching and commenting!
This film is great fun, definitely specially crafted for young women in mind (and comic book female fans in general). Recommend to take your kids. Incel mature moaning men of course will snowflake about it. Best Marvel film since Shang-Chi.
funny stats showed 60-70% of audience that showed up for this movie is male. no one to blame this time.. if women dont show up to this movie i dunno who they are pandering to.
The fact you consider it pandering says it all though, you do have the self-awareness to realize that, right? Not only do I mention that it didn’t attract the target audience it was probably hoping for with women, I also acknowledge multiple other reasons for the films underperformance and you latching onto misogyny and trying to deny it played any role while also calling it pandering is just indicative of its existence
