I love the MCU Spider-Man villains. They took characters that so many people said “Just look at them, they would never work on the big screen!” And made them work, with some of the most iconic parts and all!
In each show they make this joke where there’s a flashback to their origins and the original suits they wore and each character had their original costume like Luke Cage had the goofy costume and commented that it was too campy so he threw it away😂
It’s funny because that’s literally untrue, not once did he ever wear his purple shorts, only slightly referenced them. This is another example of a person trying to act smart and just looking stupid

Honourable mention to the prototype Spider-Man suit used on set in Captain America: Civil War, which used a spider symbol with all eight legs pointing down like in the early comics.
U forgot Iron Man Mk II (in the Comics, especially the Invincible Iron Man Series)/Mk III (‘08/Captain America: Civil War/Infinity War/Endgame); Hulk (‘08 (sort of, mostly strength and rage-wise), Avengers I/II and Thor Ragnorak); Thor (2011/The Avengers); Captain America (The Avengers/Captain America: Civil War); Black Widow (she was already comic-accurate in her own right); Wolverine (The Wolverine Deleted Alternate Ending); Ant-Man (the 2015 is accurate since there was a story of Scott Lang taking on the Black Ant to prevent the freedom of the captive Ultron); The Punisher (He is close with the Max series); Winter Soldier (He was close, but no domino mask); and GotG (they were sort of Comic-Accurate, attitude-wise).
Despite my growing complaints about the MCU, one thing I really like and appreciate is how they’re slowly making more comic-accurate suits (in some cases). Also, I just have to say that of all the suits in this video, Sam Wilson’s Captain American suit is the only one that I believe genuinely SURPASSES it’s comic counterpart
Id have added them also, you know the venom from Spider-Man 3 right? I would have added him because he’s psychotic and also the symbol and head is pretty accurate, I would’ve putted normal venom also iron man from endgame, I really also would’ve added the task 2 suit, the Spider-Man raimi suit also. Watched the vid and yeah good suits!

@@brandonrussell3346 Yeah, green jumpsuit is definitely his longest lasting and most known look, but he’s been known to rock that black suit, especially into the early 2000s
4:33 I feel the need to point out there are three people who are the Ghost Rider in Marvel Comics: Johnny Blaze, Danny Ketch and Robbie Reyes. The Ghost Rider here from Agents of SHIELD Season 4 is Robbie Reyes. We've yet to see Johnny Blaze, the original Ghost Rider in the MCU.

For me Spiderman and Deadpool are probably the 2 comic hero design that can't really be messed up. Spiderman design is simple but works, and Deadpool comic design is detailed enough yet still simple it would fit right into live action.
Call me crazy but other than spideys final swing suit, Sam’s cap suit, white vision, white widow and Kamala’s suit, thor’s teen years suit, US agent has to be the MOST accurate suit correct?
Doctor strange's suit in multiverse of madness is more comic accurate than his suits in his first film, infinity war and endgame, and nk way home, in thor ragnarok he got comic accurate gloves in his cameo, while in his MOM suit, it's more comic accurate
A lot of these are not comic accurate, notably the Iron Man Mark 1 is only 'comic accurate' in that it is bulky and grey, the MCU design is a lot more intricate and detailed than the comics, a fact that putting the two side by side only highlights, it is clearly inspired by the comic book version, but it is significantly different.
they have a tendency to make some of the original designs be cheaply made in the mcu, im guessing for comedic effect and as a callback to older superhero movies, but i'd like to see more well done accurate ones
I swear they didn’t draw nick fury in the comics, I believe the comic must have been made from Samuel L Jackson, looks wayyyyyy to similar to be a coincidence
Well the movie version is based on the Ultimate Universe version of Nick Fury whose appearance was also based on Samuel L. Jackson. I think that version came out in 2003. The original 616 Nick Fury is still white but he has a son Nick Fury Jr. who is black.
@@hkn9723 Nick Fury comic lore became very confusing once they introduced his son to 616, who looks exactly the same as Ultimate Fury and has no basically taken over that position
He was basically a David Hasselhoff/Clint Eastwood combo in the comics. I frankly have never loved Nick Fury in the MCU. Yea he is a fun character, but it is just Sam Jackson playing Sam Jackson, with less swearing. I would love to see a big screen adaptation of the original Nick Fury.
Sam L Jackson said in this very video, there is an alternate universe version of the avengers called the ultimates, where fury not only is black, but resembles Jackson specifically. It may not be the old fury I knew from cartoons and comics but the ultimate universe is where most of the mcu inspiration comes from.
@@scarletwitch616 the mcu is everything bit based on 616. They only called it 616 in the Dr strange movie but it's very far from it. Also as he already said the avengers movie is based on the Ultimates and the Ultimate version of Fury came debuted in 2001.

First of all no Comic accurate is bad because when you love comic accurate come back to when Stan Lee was alive RIP nearly everyone wasn’t comic accurate and the story wasn’t inspired by the comics no he wanted to create a new world with new suits new people new everything having comic accurate basically ruins his vision for the MCU
