Mines not working properly.....and it used to for the longest I cleared all programms....and started over....program 1 on at 6pm.....doesnt work Program 1 off at 11pm...doesnt work...and i set it to AUTO OFF....."auto" so that it knows to cone on at 6p....but it doesnt......
I was thinking of using a multitool to saw the baseboard at the floor level, keep the lower part of the old baseboard buried, and install a new baseboard on top of it. Which method would be better? What I am suggesting, or what the video shows?
This is a great tip! I'm fir first home owner and trying to replace baseboard but I've been struggling. I will try your method and hopefully, it will work!
So I just want this to turn on, then off at certain times, Mon -Fri. do I set it to 'auto on'? It didnt work that way. it turned on immediately, not at the specified time.
Excellent tutorial. I used this information to program a Jewenwils model# TM-050A pool timer for sunset on and sunrise off in just a few minutes after wasting 2 hours trying to program this devise using their printed instructions. Thanks.
One of the most non intuitive and complicated devices ever made for something so simple as a timer. How do I know which program mode is being used? Am I in weekend only, weekday only or 7 days per week. It has no indicator which mode you're in. Does it just default to the last program that you selected? Your video is at least an improvement over the instruction sheet.
Thank You 😊😊😊😊 Your video and explanation was simple and to the point. I purchased the dewenwils timer tm-050a that turns a fountain on and off. The instructions have been a battle to say the least but your video has made the setup simple. Thanks
Thank you! I had the Sunset setting working - it turned on at the right time, but hadn't configured the "Off at Sunrise" setting, so it stays on. I thought it would use both settings if you chose one. Now I know better!
Oh my gosh I love RU-vid.... I been working on getting the base boards up .... just like this in my whole house... I was so upset last night I was crying, why would they do this??? Lazy to take up the baseboards and do it right.... Now I have this big gap between the floor and wall... So should I used grout from tile to wall???? I'm talking the thickness of your whole finger could fit down in it
Thanks for figuring out the program modes. I just installed two of these yesterday and was going crazy trying to understand Intermatic’s instruction sheet. This vid is a huge help!
Makes total sense after a great explanation. I agree that they should have made a separate on/off override button that doesn't change the mode, but no big deal unless you forget to cycle through.
Does anyone know how to change from one program to another program? If you have one set for seven days to work for 3 hours and one program to work for 10 hours, how to I toggle back and forth?
This only helps if the installers nailed the top of the baseboards. If they nailed it, in my case level with the tile this wont work. You have to cut the base board out flush with the tile.
I have a Woods branded time but it seems to have the same options as what was described here. The video was well put together. Concise but enough detail was provide to allow me to understand what I was doing. Thanks for sharing this video.
