"What 1300 gets you" sounds like a general factual statement. And that's not where rent in Berlin is generally at, nowhere near it, actually. Especially not in that area. It's such a shame, cause that's not even what the video is about (the rent isn't mentioned once!). Focusing the title on the part of the description about transforming a plain apartment in Berlin (and there are plenty of those) into a colourful and eclectic home (of which there are few) with DIY methods for relatively little money/methods that can be done with relatively little money would have been so much more spot on and a lot less people would feel like they just got slapped with a whole hand of middle fingers because they are made to feel like, apparently, they're just too stupid to find a min 60m² apartment remotely close to the central area for under 1500. Yes, miracles happen when it comes to rent and landlords who're not looking for the money; actually happened to me back when I was studying - but it's both inappropriate and inaccurate to put into a title as a factual statement. --- Maybe worth considering changing the title of the video; cause the video itself is actually quite nice and it's kinda sad when an unfitting title spoils the mood. Just my two cents.
People in third world countries are literally dying from ilnesses and catastrophies and you are here worrying about growing tall and having bigger boobs. This is insanity
Hello, really enjoyed the video! Do you have any information about part-time works for students (English). Also more infromationa about, City registration, opening bank accounts, getting insurance and all that.
Beautiful appartement but very small...So thankful for my appartement 🙏 I have 70qm and my rent is 840 Euro. In Berlin. The prices in Berlin are insane.
I loved this vlog. I’m all for the very “normal” vlogs, I find them refreshing, realistic, relatable and relaxing! also I cannot believe every word I just used started with R 😂
I have to go to Hamburg again only for these pastrys, it looks so yummy! I like Christians humour, so dry but funny. I think I will try out the🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 musical too and these fantastic cinnemon rolls, oh my god!
One thing which helps me is looking at our photos in chronological order. Seeing us grow into our love really puts everything into perspective. It makes me feel strong about us and confirms the fact that at the end of the LDR is absolute bliss for the both of us.
Overpriced short-term rentals like this one make the housing crisis a lot worse. I would recommend watching this documentary: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yg-a4xlAUGY.html
Living in Berlin more than 25 Years, but your AD is stupid . Too much money for little space, you Guys are the Problem for us Berliners. Do yo earns 3 x 1590 Euro per Month?? That's the Formular for renting a flat.here!! Stay in your Country don't come here. W don't need you advertisements like this.
I'm sorry that you're being scammed so shamelessly. I also live in Berlin and pay only half of what you're paying with double the space. And even my apartment is a bit too expensive honestly. Landlords here are unhinged. You deserve better though! The apartment is not even cute (kind of the worst part). The balcony does not save it for me but if you're happy, that's good for you!
Renting is a scam in and on itself, I don't see the point of spending THAT much money on something that doesn't belong to you... Might as well burn the money at that point to be honest... Imagine what one could do with that amount of money elsewhere, like invest it, use it to further one's education yada yada....
This is showing a completely wrong picture of Berlin appartements. Yes it got more expensive, but this appartement is owned by a horrible person / company that's renting furnished flats for an incredibly high price, making use of the misery of others. Also how ugly and cheap does the furniture look for that price
Way too expensive and very very bad for the local housing situation. This is an advertisement not a review. Content creators like her do not have social consciousness.😢
Why anyone would pay as much for a studio in Mitte is totally beyond me. Give me a flat in Kreuzberg, Neukölln, or Prenzlauer Berg over Rosenthaler Platz any day of the week.
Totally get your point! Each area has its own vibe, and some people prefer the charm and convenience of Mitte, even if it's pricier. It all comes down to personal preference, I guess!
This is so true. I don't think you understand how "you're so tiny" affects me when I'm alone and searching on RU-vid about how to gain weight. I hope that everyone that faces this whether it's weight gain or weight loss are going to achieve their goal but most importantly understand that's it's more than just a goal that you want to reach but it's also a journey that you embrace. Every effort you put into it I just want you to be proud of yourself and never be too hard on yourself. You're gonna get there one step at a time. ❤ Isaiah 60:22. This bible verse is constantly on my mind and not only does it gives me hope that everything is going to get better , but it makes you aware that the battle you face everyday is nothing compared to what God has in-store for your future. So continue striving and learn to love yourself more than the love you want from other people ❤
To be honest, 1590€ for 27sqm is outrageous. But Rosenthaler Platz is probably the most popular place in Berlin at the moment. And people from abroad know similar prices in London, Paris, Madrid, Rome, etc. As a real Berliner, I would never pay such a price. The landlord will make at least 60% profit on the apartment and this increases every year as the renovation and furnishing costs are amortized. You give the counter-example of your former apartment in an old building, which is not so well equipped. Well, the original concept in Germany is that you rent an empty apartment and furnish it yourself. You make your own contract with the electricity and internet provider, etc. This saves you a lot money and you can decoratethe apartment yourself. If you rent a fully furnished apartment, you are responsible for the items and have to replace them at the end. And the landlord can add considerably more to the standard local rent. So the landlord is the winner and gentrification continues. I work in an old building near Friedrichstrasse (not far from Rosenthaler Platz) and we regularly have real estate buyers calling because they smell the big money.
Thanks for sharing your perspective! I totally understand where you're coming from. The prices are definitely high, and gentrification is a real issue in many cities. While Rosenthaler Platz has its appeal, it's true that it comes at a cost. It's always a trade-off between location and value, and unfortunately, the trend seems to favor landlords in popular areas like this.
