I’m an enthusiastic lockpicker. I like to improve my skills by practicing on different locks and learning about locking mechanisms. Some of my tools are handmade but the majority comes from Peterson and Sparrows. With the videos I want to share the fun I have when picking. I’d like to encourage you to comment or start discussions.
I’m at the gym rn. Haven’t used my lock in a WHILE. And I was about to be stuck here trying to get into my locker until I found this video! Got my lock open in the first try! Somehow the combination changed🤷🏽♀️ Thank you for this video
Super informative! Showing the signal on the scope was great! The very short pulses of electricity allow small battery to last a long time. I would make one correction: The one pulse per second changes direction every second, and so the full cycle on the Lavet motor takes 2 seconds, and it is 0.5 Hz frequency, and not 1 Hz.
I tried your method but I didn't make it , then is only one method stay , and I know you know which is that only way !? I have Abus 165/40 Lock with four code number , and like I said I didn't understand how you can do this without code , I found resistance but other click no. Than I decide to check all numbers from 0 0 0 0 - 9999 and I worked 5 hours and I unlock combination on 9693 before the hours and that is unbelievable feeling 😊 ! Is necessary to have hard nerves for that but I did it , my fingers are tired but I m happy because I didn't stop to find code . My luck was is this is just 9999 combination . But Your method is faster and I hope so I will learn that !!
I knew the first number to the lock but forgot the last three and this really helped me open the lock after only fidgeting around with it for 5 mins I popped it open, I’m no lock smith but doing this did feel like I was cause internal damage to the lock however they’re pretty cheap so even so who cares.
I need a link to buy the lock pick set you used. I lost both my keys for my bicycle in Sweden and want to pick it vs clipping it. Tell me what kit you used. Thanks.
Leider klappt es bei mir nicht. Womöglich hat vor bei Kauf. Irgendjemand code eingeben und zu gemacht und gegangen. Zu mindestens geht bei mir nicht mit den 0000 nicht auf
I was following along with this video, until I a) used plyers to shove down the button too hard and then b) tapped it with a hammer. Popped right out. Lock was destroyed, laptop is 100% fine.
Have you come across a Matlock 8090? I’m finding it very hard to distinguish any difference between false and true gates. 😮 fortunately it’s on my locker (which is empty).
If you have the sensitivity of the prohibited lock picking lawyer fingers. You can individually pick the wafers without tensioning the core but the spring tension is divided between wafers so it is incredibly hard to feel the bar snap into place. Keep in mind that each wafer has to remain placed while the next is placed.
My nephew bought a new lock from the store for his high school. After he set the new code, he couldn’t close the lock. So I watched some of the RU-vid videos to find solutions. I’ve tried it and it works. Thanks to RU-vidrs for helping me and my nephew out!
That is a very good explanation-video for the forbidden zone. I aalways wondered, why 0-10 is not allowed, now I know. But why are some locks not allowing a distance between the three code-numbers that is below ten steps? If you could answer this in another video, that would be great!
