@@Tanya-rf6kl thanks tanya!! & yes, it’s been a lottt of learning, but i’m enjoying it 😊 so glad you had a great time in chicago! truly the perfect time to visit
Btw i love your thumbnail! As for summer vacation, ( as a teacher) I am planning to do a lot of catch up. As well as mending clothing ...so many rips lol Side note: I noticed your essence pure nude highlighter I was thinking of getting essence pure nude goldy cassis blush. I want to hear your thoughts on the baked formula? ( Beacuse I don't own any baked or essence products)
thank you!! i hope you enjoy your summer break! i too have a pile of clothes desperate for mending... one day 😂 & i love their baked formula! it's so soft and also great as eyeshadow. i have the shade be my sunlight and it's not glittery at all. i was curious about their blushes (especially goldy cassis) but the swatches i saw looked pretty glittery and more like a blush highlight, which wasn't my vibe. but reviews mentioned that glitteriness varied between shades so it might just be that one
🥹 I feel you @@GianaChen And hm I watched reviews and some had more sparkle whereas others had more sheen/shimmer. I might try it out given that I prefer powder over cream but still want shine.
@@GianaChenI tested out the Goldy cassis. It isn't glittery to me, but if you are under stark white light then the shimmers are more noticeable. It is definitely a blush highlighter no doubt and it's very light in pigmentation. Alternatively, kokie soft gradient blush in "Flushed" might be a better alternative powder blush.
I feel like I will keep changing my answer But right now milani strobelight in summer glow ( I too never left the bandwagon for highlighters) As well as a clear shiny gloss Now I'm bringing back bronzer after finding a brush that blends it evenly ABH in rich amber
@@Ms.Ahm3d what a perfect shade name! & finding the right brush is so underrated. i've had products i thought were duds but it was just me using the wrong brush 🥲 do you have a clear gloss rec? the af94 one i have is a little too sticky for everyday lol
@@GianaChen🥲 but it's a good thing we experimented different methods. Big brain 🧠 energy. As for gloss, I buy them from local beauty supply stores such as Glow lip gel from absolute ny and n.k tiramisu lipgloss 🍰 🍫. I do recall using CoverGirl yummy gloss being non sticky.
THE GOATED FLIP!!!! some of my tips for waking up early and feeling alive: put your phone in a separate room and get an analog alarm clock w/ a gentle alarm! also if you’re able to get in some physical activity before work, that always helps me feel brighter :))
@@anntokki this is such an important thing we have in common 😂 and ok i need to try not having my phone by me so i don’t reach for it first thing. i have a sunrise alarm clock that i need to actually use lol ty for the tips!!
Hi Giana!! Where did you get your glasses from if you don't mind sharing? Every video of yours I always marvel at how cute they are so I just have to ask 😊 Also I know you mentioned dealing with TMJ in your previous videos. I suffer from it too and what's helped me the most was getting a TheraFace massager. That thing is amazing, I rarely have relapses now.
hi!! they’re the “colby” from warby parker in rose gold! they don’t sell them anymore but if you google it, the results have a bunch of similar looking pairs. i love them so much 🥰 and omg thank you for the rec!! i was about to spend half that on a tmj massage so this sounds a lot better. i’m so sorry you’ve had to deal with tmj too but glad you’ve found relief! 🫶🏾
@@GianaChen Thank you, off to search! That's the exact reason why I bit the bullet and got the TheraFace, I was sooo sick of spending money on constant massages that provided temporary relief. It's definitely alot of bang for your buck. Hope you find some relief!
love love looove your videos! I’m currently reading The Book of Azrael on kindle and i’m slowly powering through! (but surely realizing that fantasy is just not my jam lol 🥲)
thank you so much!! 🤗 and omg that book is huuuge! props to you for working through it. i feel like with fantasies i really need to care about the characters and some are just too plot-heavy for me 😬
Go Hex Yourself is inspired by Kylo Ren/ Rey fanfiction. It's funny I am not into that pairing at all but all these Reylo fanfiction turned into published authors... certified bangers lol
I love how you hold yourself accountable to your goals and come back around to them at the start of the month!! I need to get on my goal setting, even though we’re 11 days into the month 🫣
oh yes it’s crucial!! even though it’s not so fun lol. & it’s neverrr too late to start! i feel like it’s easier to make realistic goals when you have a shorter time frame 😎
It's been a while since I had a 5 star :( but I think it was Carrie by Stephen King, which I almost didn't read because I've already seen the movie, so I thought it would be redundant, but it was definitely still worth reading on its own!
@@asitoned ooo i’ll add that to my list! i’m curious how different it’ll be to the movie. & i feel ya, it’s been 6 books since mine 😪 hope you find another 5 🌟 soon!
the veronica speedwell series is an all time favorite! hope you love it. the mysteries are sort of silly but the characters and romance -- top tier! congrats!
yes, the reveal~ in book one was so ridiculous but i'm just there for the vibes! veronica & stoker are so much fun 😊 i'm def going to keep this series in the wings to read between heavier books. & thank you sam!!
comgrats on your promotion, so amazing!!! 💗 i love brunch for the vibezzzz (yapping over mimosas) but i also am an egg lover so i love brunch food too. also love the floral shirt you wore to brunch, so cute!
thank you!! ❤️❤️ i’m so excited!! and 100% brunch is the yappiest meal and i love it 😂 & ty! it’s forever 21 from literally a decade ago and is still kicking lol
hi!! i have some more chicago recs for you: if you think you'll go to the lincoln park zoo, the green city farmers' market is nearby & my favorite pie place (hoosier mama) has a stall there. so you can grab a little snack beforehand and just walk around the park! it's on wed & sat mornings. if you go to the art institute, def don't miss the thorne miniature rooms in the lower level! it's the coziest place in the museum and the miniatures are so intricate and lovely. if you haven't taken an architectural boat tour, i highly recommend it!! cruising around on a sunny day and hearing all about the history is perfect. if you like flowers & greenery, check out the garfield park conservatory! i feel like there's nothing cozier than a greenhouse lol and they have an incredible collection of plants from around the world. hope you have an amazing trip!! 🤗
This is one of the best filmed declutter videos I've ever watched. And I'm obsessed with the stickers!! I'm totally doing this on all my plainly packaged products 😊
there's nothing more satisfying than a makeup declutter than ends up way bigger than you thought it would be! have you ever thought of doing any project pan content? I love your videos, I really wanna point out the coloring on them (not sure of video terms, color correction?) is always so nice, everything is so vibrant to look at. love these reset videos, they are so inspiring!
seriously!! it was such a relief, i should've done it sooner lol. and omg ty so much! my husband edits my vids so i'll let him know 🤗 & yess i've always been interested in doing one but was afraid i'd get bored of the products! but maybe i can try a mini one hehe. thank you so much for watching!! so glad you enjoyed the reset ❤
thank you!! i can usually go 2 months before they’re all straight again, but it depend on how quickly your lashes grow and fall out 😊 and yess, cheers to that! 🎆
I don’t blame you for not liking Happy Place, its my LEAST favorite one from Emily Henry, I didn’t liked it at all. Either way, I definitely think you should try another book from her. My favorite is People We Meet On Vacation! ☺️
ok thank you because i felt like i was losing it reading reviews 😅 i liked the writing but that ending… & i will! i have book lovers on hold and then i’ll read people we meet! hoping for better luck with those 🤞🏾
My go-to genre is definitely sci-fi, but sometimes that can be a bit heavy, so I'll read fantasy as my kind of comfort genre. But I should definitely get more into mystery. All the sci-fi mysteries I've read have been so much fun, so I think that's definitely a sign
@@asitoned oh sci-fi mysteries sounds awesome!! i love multi-genre books for switching it up a bit. my romantasy read has opened my eyes to an whole subgenre!
My go to genre is magical realism. Isabel Allende had a hold on my adolescent self. I'm currently reading The Idiot by Dostoevsky but I think I'm going to dive into some Murakami once I'm done. I started 1Q84 a long time ago but haven't finished it. But I think I'll start with some of his short stories.
@@SisterWendy03 i need to explore magical realism more! i'll have to look into these books & authors, thank you for sharing 😊 hope you're enjoying your reads!
you are the cutest hibiscus!!! my spring plans include choosing to be outside whenever it’s sunny 🌞 I will be reading outside, eating outside, walking outside, everything outside!!
ahh thank you for your sweet comments, tanya!! they make me so excited to share a new video 🤗 & yess it's been so nice. hope you're getting some sunshine too!
I'm in a bit of a slump right now too but I think its because I just got back from vacation. I'm trying to get hyped to read my next book (Magnolia Parks) but it's just not sparking my interest. I might just read something else and come back to it another time. Enjoyed your vlog ❤
i’m actually feeling the same way with my reading! i’ve been stuck on a book for a while and should just pick up something else in the meantime but i forget that’s an option 😅 hope you find a read that excites you soon!! thanks so much for watching ❤️
Rooftop cocktails from colourpop is sooo nice, it looks so good on so many skin tones. I'm pretty pale and for me that gorgeous brown base makes the shadow look like I put on a bronzy, very even base shadow before some green glitter topper. It's so gorgeous, truly one of my everyday faves!
yess i love how great it looks on different skin tones! and it looks like you put in more effort than you did haha im gonna pull it out today! thanks so much for your comment 😊
Also, I'm planning a Chicago trip in mid June and would love to know your favorite beauty spots (I'm so excited for a big Michigan mile Sephora!), and cozy recs!
ahhh that’s so exciting! have you ever been before? i’ll have a think and get back to you 😊 but i love music box theatre, it’s like being transported to the 20s. if they’re showing something you like, it’s worth a visit!
what's something you must do to set yourself up for a great week? 🌸 having freshly painted nails makes me feel so put-together that i need to make it a weekly thing!
I was thinking the same about hourglass buuuuut when I was in store and swatched it I was like ok feels nice and purchased it. I try it for first time today and I’m in love it. Same as you I don’t like to feel and see my face too heavy(im just a concealer girl haha) but this feels like nothing on the skin . I’m 100% sure that I have found the one.
oh nooo lol that sounds amazing!!😭i'll definitely pick it up when i'm done with the danessa myricks. thanks for letting me know & i'm glad you're loving it so much! it's the best when you find your holy grail
Thank you for the upload, this was the perfect mood for my evening 😊 the only thing I'm eyeing from Sephora is Juliette Has a Gun - Sunny Side Up But I so don't need another fragrance, and November sales will be around before we know it 🤷♀️
