Love this video! Totally agree about the weathered woods collection, I was hoping the undertones would be more prominent. I got Magnetic Maple and I wanted to love it, but it pulled too grey on me. Love their formulas though so I’m hoping they’ll come out with more warm neutrals!

Hi, just found your channel 😊 love your calming voice. Also I think you’re the only reviewer that voiced my issues with applying certain phyto products. I wanted to love the bronzer and the “highlighter” but they are just so tricky to apply 😅
Fantastic review! I have lots of their products and tonight picked up the new ignite and kindle blush balms. They're limited edition and while I missed them during the latest sale they just restocked so I grabbed them! I was looking for reviews/swatches of these and came across your channel. Did you end up picking up these new ones too?

I'm finding this late so happy new year and thank you for the amazingly indepth review! There's not a lot of people with a skintone close to mine who have reviewed these products. I'm going to base the blush colors and bronzer I get off of your review. Have any of the products expired/gone bad on you? I think Phytosurgence is a semi-clean beauty brand, so I'm always a bit wary of that in my makeup.
happy new year!! so stoked you found it helpful ✨ & none have gone bad on me so far! i've had some of my blushes and eyeshadows from them for a year and they don't have any smell or texture changes. i know what you mean though with clean beauty, i love my tower 28 blushes but they do develop a bit of a playdough smell after a while. hope you enjoy the shades you pick up & thank you for watching!
@@GianaChen Thank you for responding! Good to know that they seem to be consistent in formula, I'll definitely make a note to try some of the blush shades and bronzer/highlighter shades that you mentioned in the video when I place an order.
Any of their blushes i feel dont "work" i apply with a super soft beauty sponge and they work well enough. Wild Oak eyeshadow doesnt pull gray on me, and while we have totally different skin depths the condensate does that sometimes looks amazing sometimes looks like a bruise so maybe wild oak will work for you as well.
What's you skintone? I'm neutral leaning cool olive. It's a mess so i get that gray or bruise issues with some colors too! Cauae rhen, i might not get the magnetic maple and oxidized olive!
hi! i've been trying to figure that out and it's so hard lol but i'm pretty sure i'm olive and more neutral than warm. i feel like more muted colors make me look super gray which is probably why i don't get on with those shades. but if you're lighter than me, i think the green and purple tones in those shades would come through more -- they just get lost in my skin tone. hope you like whatever you end up choosing!!
@@GianaChen oohhh so then that makes sense then if you're leaning warm. I am a tad lighter than you so maybe you're right, they might show. It's just so hard sometimes cause I have some yellow in my skin cause I'm Asian and light blues turn green 😂 so I have to use different stuff if I want it to be actually green and then some purples make me look dead if I'm not careful!
