It's was all wrapped in gloss black, window trim, door panels, front grill outline, roof rails were done in matte black, to give it a factory black edition look.
Hi, sorry I don't understand when you say driver side back seat? Do you mean the upper sear that supports you back? If that is what you are talking about, thar part is steel wire controlled, so you may need to take the seat out and strip a fee parts to see why the wire is reacting the way you said.
Is it a bad egr valve or throttle body? My car has p0488 and it jerks in first gear and at high speeds sometimes. Unplugging both egr sensors solves the issue but throws the car into limp mode. Im considering cleaning the egr and if that doesnt work then ill delete the egr from the ecu.
Was a bad TB, my car would get to a certain speed/rev and not pick up speed.. very sluggish and occasionally jerk mildly. I change the TB and it was all good. The codes didn't point to EGR.. but it wasn't the EGR.
I don't have this.. but I do have a Celica GT 2005 in Thunder Grey.. I will be adding a video on here when then sun is out and temperatures go up a little
Never a bad idea to remove the EGR and give it a good clean.. I use oven cleaner (foam)with very warm (not boiling) water and let it rest for 10mins and then clean it with a wire and toothbrush.
Thanks for the video! Any response to show its not blocking the airbag. I don't know what the other commenters are talking about and would love a quick visual confirmation and to know where i should avoid putting the wire. Thanks Again!
Hi, sorry i sold the car now.. but if you see how i did it.. i can assure you it wont cover the airbag as the wire is tucked away just under the rubber seals and on the edge of the panels. Also the impact of the airbag id so strong when deployed you have any issues with that wire.
I also wanted to add.. i tested that the car would not lock, one from thr 2 beeps and also by pressing the lock button on the key fob, placing the key away from the car and trying to open each door.. 3 doors were locked, the driver door was open and the alarm went off. Which at that point all pointed to the door lock actuator. But obviously not.. it was just a loose connection on the door module.
Thanks a lot bro! You just saved me 90 euros, the price my local garage wanted to charge me to remove the seat and see what the problem was. I just solve the problem thanks to you! In 2 seconds.
Amazing very clear instructions, thank you. What’s the bet my hubby still cannot do it. I would have a go but after 2 back surgeries I could not get in those positions 😃
My car is 245/40/19 bolt pattern 5x114.3. I know someone selling some 🔥 rims and tires same 245/40/19, but the bolt pattern is 5x112. Is it possible for me to buy despite the bolt difference?
@@MrStylish126 yes, they fit , i use 5x114 on my cars wheel hub 5x114.3..i have a video you can watch on youtbe click my car okn my name here on the commment...........step 2 .my car hub bore size is 64.1 the wheels i have are 66.6 bore.. remember you can always add centric rings sizes up to add more , but you cant take away. you cant take 64.1 and make it smaller with a centric ring if needed.
@@MohamedTechQ no the 2mm different isn't even noticable. Perfect fit. But get the 66.6 centric ring to 64.1 bore. That's all. I use the wheels direct for. 5x112 on my 5x114.3. And that's for accord too
So after fitting in another throttle body the car has now come back to life. When i fitted in the used throttle body from a local breaker i tested it like in the video. The only difference was the light noise when the flap closed on the old one compared to the one i fitted after. At that point i was hmmmmm is this going to work... it cleary did. But anyway it was the Throttle body. Hope this helps anyone else with this issue.
@@maj6150 yeah been looking mate is it raptor ones? How have they been so far? Want to beef mine out with them but want the right look. How has Maxton kit been? Rear spoiler next?
Hi Martin, its literally on the edge, you cant push it futher with you fingers even if i tried unless i used a tool push it in.. its well away from the airbag.. but thanks for pointing that out and i will double check it.
Hey Ace - I agree with Martin. It’s certainly blocking the airbag in the pillar. Unless you’ve removed the SC few and tucked the wire under the airbag. Otherwise it’ll be constricting the airbag. Do check.
Nice car dude I got an E46 M3 Individual Petrol Mica Metallic. This colour is really awesome!! I have only one question: Why is the engine so dirty? :D Best wishes from Austria
Here in the UK, if the engine has been cleaned, people think there is something to hide as in any oil leaks etc.. so i tend to leave the engine bay so anyone buying it can be satisfied there are no leaks etc.
Its a conversation done by a exhaust specialist.. all we did was get a GTI exhaust and they connected it from the back box to the tips. Its a relatively simple process and still MOT compliant. Labour was £70, and the GTI exhaust we sourced ourselves for about £150 with the diffuser. For got to add you also need a GTI rear diffuser which has two tips cut out.
@@Adam-us4hi looking back i wouldn't use them again, but never had any issues always had a thought of "just say something happened".. so no wouldn't recommend them.
