I still do ☺️ I think God strategically put me on that path to ignite the fire of nursing that I had before doing sterile processing. Sterile processing put me in proximity to nurses and I was like I can do this 😊💕 life update coming soon. Hope that answered your question💜

didnt pass huhu,,questions were not basic,,more like situational.,mybe 2% only was in that book..i did class for 3 months and i can count in my hands whts only in the questions..
@@dalleshaful i had a month,,i did alot of online practice tests,,websites of more than 5 ,re read my thick ass book,i was good on identifying instruments them boom 2 or 3 instrument i hve never seen,i did my 120hrs clinicals,,not even half of what i learn in class and hands on was on the test,jesus christ,,my teacher was right,,experience in the field is important i should hve waited for a experience,,its really nothin basic or easy,..125 questions i got 82 right still not passed 😂 its like questions you never expected and really dnt know because u dnt hve experience with different situations in the field…cnt elaborate more,,but im just bombarded that most of the questions is never discussed in my class or what i learn in my clinicals..
are you using the 8th edition or the 9th edition for the Central sterile processing. I just started my class on Jan. 27,2024. We are using the 9th edition book.

Congratulations 🎉 on your interview. They are not expecting you to know everything. They might ask you basic questions like what’s the purpose of sterile processing. Decontamination process. You’ll be ok. Most hospitals allow you to sit once you’re working in the preparation and packaging of the instruments. Wear those socks. You can find cute and comfortable ones. All the best 💗😊

You can take the exam, but they want you to be in a hospital setting to work in each area of the department. Example:decontamination:knowing how to clean instruments etc.. the hspa website gives a breakdown of what they want you to do. Hope this helps.
I failed my 1st try because I ONLY studied the meaty chapters But I just passed the exam yesterday because I studied on the 10% area questions and watched the guy on Boston career institute on RU-vid which HELPED me out majority of my test! I did a lot of the pre test in the workbook but I also blocked out every distraction that could get in the way of my studying… also I studied atleast 30 mins to a hr on my work days but about a hr or more on my off days! But this is my story and the best advice I can give is the more you study the more you’ll be able to pass!
