Idk if it was intentional or not, on the topic of interfamily relations of the royals of the Lands Between, but there's actually some curious reflections of real life old time beliefs (& consequences in the case of specifically Miquella & Malenia). •Godwyn, Mohg, and Morgot were born to the royal Marika and the 'commoner' warrior Horah Loux, who changed his name when he married Marika; he was forced to conform to ways that weren't his and take a name that wasn't his, and two of his children were born with afflictions. This parallels the old belief about common blood 'sullying' royal blood. •Radagon, who was at minimum considered a lord ("head of a golden host", implying his status WAS more than 'commoner' even if he was a 'mere' champion), married the royal queen Rennala, and they had Ranni, Rykard, and Rahdan. At least two of these children (if not all three, Rahdan being the ambiguous one) went on to then 'betray' their father's house of the Erdtree. Reflecting that while it was perfectly fine to marry royalty or nobility of another nation, but it was considered in some places to compromise loyalties. •Malenia and Miquella were born to solely the Noble Radagon and the royal Queen Marika. This was considered to be the 'perfect' combination, and yet the two were realistically born with afflictions as if they were born to incest. Reflecting the beliefs and consequences of the belief about blood purity.
Another youtube channel (Jack is a Mimic, i think?) believes that Rahdan controlling the stars would've been beneficial to the Carians as he thinks Rahdan would be loyal still to his family. So his control over the stars gave Carians control over the stars. This theoretically means the only reason Ranni needed Rahdan dead was either because there was a rift between them, or by the time she realized she needed the stars to move, Rahdan had succumed to madness via scarlet rot. (He also believes the demigods were born with their great runes, iirc)
I am so late to the party! I believe Rennala never could have children. Radagon used his great rune and the egg to have children "with" her. She accepts them as her own. But they are completely Radagons children. That's why they look nothing like Rennala. They each have red hair like their father. More importantly, this explains why Ranni is an imperian. She is born of a single god, Radagon, not Rennala. He used her to have more demigod children and to stop the devastating wars. She holds so tight to that egg be that's how she had her three children with Radagon. Her "children" now can only come about through reincarnation, not true birth. The great rune of the unborn was made for Radagon to make more demigods. Once he was done, he left the egg as he didn't need it. And went on to make more demigos as 2nd Elden Lord. Just a theory

Miquellas tree arm is also withered..... he's a tree now. Like marika was. It's why the art work of her in front of the tree was released imo If he was in the tree would explain why malenia is sitting there looking up at his tree form, and why she not out looking for him
I think the body Mohg collected from the Haligtree was a false one. Miquella has some history with the Albinaurics, their primary protector Loretta serves the Haligtree, there are cocooned Albinaurics within the Haligtree itself and there are Albinauric wolf riders protecting the entrance. After studying the Albinaurics, he could've created a mimic that's purpose would be to lure out Mohg, the shard-bearer who up to that point remained hidden; granting the Tarnished an opportunity to obtain that shard of the Elden Ring, have a realm full of blood to grow a new Erdtree in and restore Caelid, and transport the Tarnished to the Land of Shadow. This is the reason I think Miyazaki said it had relation to Miquella, but wasn't him.
You should consider that Miquella's power to bewitch others is why the soldiers explode themselves. Only lowly footsoliders do this, not the more equipped soldiers or Knights. Miquella views them as more disposable, so he "programmed" them to self-destruct, making them more valuable and formidable as an army, dismissing them as individuals. With the exception of Cleanrot Knights, all the Haligtree forces have a band of what appears to be unalloyed gold around their helmets. Around their heads, their brains, their minds. This could be one way Miquella compels people to become his followers.
Just to clarify, incantations and *sorcereries* both fall under the category of "spells". It's a little confusing because of the gameplay different of Faith and Intelligence. All are Spells, but things you cast with a staff are sorcerery.
I suspect that these events were, on some level, part of Miquella's plan all along. And just as Ranni took actions to change her fate (by killing her brother among other things), I think Miquella has done the same and the Amber Starlight Shard is his discarded fate.
I really enjoyed your theories. The eyes being full of grace makes so much sense. The dragon communion startes to change the tarnished. The only way to tell though... are the eyes. Maybe having the eyes changed makes it where the greater will cannot use the tarnished as they wished.

Loved the video, over the last 6 months my view of the motifs in Elden Ring have sculpted cohesively into my own interpreted fictional analog for so many core historical & philosophical quandries, which was certainly by design. The potential for individual personalized extrapolation to each of the higher level abstract divisions such as metaphysical, ontological, existentialism and epistemological have been fascinating, if this was 10 years ago, I would have probably written on it for every Philo paper I had the freedom to explore literary subject. Eyes are fallible faculties, even in real life where their perception range is abysmally finite in scope of known electromagnetic radiation and even then further limited by chromaticism (colour blindness) vision acuity and cognitive processing. We consider them a raw premiere tool of perceptive utility when in truth as we understand it they are a blatantly restrictive funnel filtering out 99% of all there may be into 300 nanometers of wave length , 3 cones of color and a perhaps even a few dimensions. They are incredibly restrictive and bottlenecked in the scope of true objective nature and objective reality of such exists. Just some epistemology 101. Now in elden ring, it's even easier to make an abstract extrapolation to how eyes are functionally restrictive to knowing what is truly contained within reality, when you consider breaking suspension of disbelief and remembering at its core, a binary summation of 0 & 1. Just as one value in code changes visible attribute from true to false this runs through an interpretor and at the source, resides as a 0 instead of 1. That's it. So since eyes can't perceive this meta source or form of objective reality you can see how they serve less to see truth and reality and more as exploitable hijacked antennas/receivers being useless to see what is there and essentially often man in the middle attacked to deceive and manipulate you. Why do you need to see, when the world isn't made up of textures and assets fundamentally, but binary octets you can't visually observe through the eyes, anyway. In Elden Ring, occular vision of the eye variety serve only as tools to manipulate and deceive one into deluding their notion of perceived reality, not means to the objective end. Thus by removing them you will be closer to gnosis, as the loss of true info is outweighed by the loss of fallible, false hypothetical potential. Addition by subtraction.
