Never thought of Miquella in the Haligtree as equivalent to Eldenbeast in the Erdtree. That's awesome.

talk about good timing: I just made it here in my 2nd playthrough and was just thinking that I didn't get much of the lore out of this place the first time around

Hi great video! I think Ordina is a second Village of Albinaurics, like the one you first find in Liurna of the Lakes. The place looks a lot like Sellia because Albinaurics are the product of Nox alchemy.

St. Trina’s Torch is another possible clue as to the relationship between Miquella. ✌🏼🙏🏼

Great parallels between Ordina and Selia; makes me think that Radhan and Miquella had some collaboration to inspire one city to another. Of course, assuming Ordina and Selia were both built before the Shattering. We all know about the Malenia and Radhan fight, but the reason why is still a mystery. Malenia would (and did) fight anyone for her brother, as Miquella would (and did) do for her. We also know that Radhan is related to Selia, due to that he learned there the gravitation magic from an Alabaster lord (although Selia's specialty are night sorceries, which some spells originate from the Eternal City below). My point is: these similarities, between Ordina and Selia, maybe can bring some light to the reason of this famous fight. Maybe Radhan knew something about Miquella, information acquired from their collaboration or interaction of the cities, and it was going to use (or already using) against him, which could had led to Miquella being stolen from the Haligtree and not be located anywhere. Since being kidnapped is THE bad thing that happens to Miquella, apart from being afflicted with eternal youth, I can`t think of anything else. Malenia would fight Radhan to know where her brother is, to the brink of using her goddess of rot powers. They tied and gained nothing from this, making Caelid a pool of red rot, Radhan crazy, and Malenia being carried to the Haligtree to, has she says in our fight, await Miquella's return. I also think that the Black Knives Assassins paths are very similar to the Crucible Knights: Evergoals, serving to same lords or new lords, or just wandering in numerous places in the Lands Between. They first served a single great purpose, The Night of the Black Knives (and whoever orchestrated it) and Godfrey, respectively. And both are disdained at the time that we play: the creation of the Sentry Torch so that something like the Night of the Black Knives never happens again; and the more and more uncomfortable presence of the Crucible Knights due to their affinity and power brought from the "primordial crucible", and being part of Godfrey's army, whose customs (such as the coliseums) are no more, being Radagon the current Elden Lord. Sorry for the looong comment. Since I first got to Ordina in my first walkthrough, I wanted to know more about it. I think looking at these details the way that you do will clarify much of this veeery confusing lore. Thanks

@@AHumanJusticar Thanks for reading my comment! It's sooo cool we thought the same thing; I'm sure people had the same ideas from your video. Something I wanted to see analyzed too is a line of Gideon, although his intentions, actions and words are suspicious at best, there are (I think) moments where he is genuine: in his boss battle, and after we give him information about the Haligtree, Miquella and Mogh. In the latter, Gideon says "Perhaps the Queen's sorrow was justified..." in regards to tell him "about the Haligtree roots" and Miquella been stolen by Mogh. So, in my way of thinking, there are so many conclusions and theories that can be made from this. In the former: first, the Queen (whom we assume is Marika, who else?) was suffering BECAUSE "someone cut the tree open and absconded with his infant form"; second, Marika`s sorrow was seem as unfounded, perhaps due to the secrecy and hard reaching of the Haligtree; third, Queen Marika knew about the intentions of her son (whichever they are/were) about been merged in the Haligtree. In the latter: Does this sorrow caused the Shattering? Was Marika trying to help her son in replacing her, been, as Malenia says in her remembrance, "the most fearsome empyrean"? Or was planning him to be, as other people has suggested, an Outer God and replace the Greater Will? We know Marika had something to do with the Night of the Black Knives, which produced the death of Godwyn and the creation of Those Who Live in Death and making him the Prince of Death, so how is Miquella different or more important to her? Godwyn was "The Golden" and Miquella is "The Unalloyed", so there are some similarities between this two brothers. Thanks again for reading. I hope I'm not boring anyone with these thoughts. Great video and good luck :)

The part about the similarities between Ordina and Selia is interesting because I've always missed them (now, when watching the video I am asking myslef why because they're obvious), but I don't really believe Radahn and Miquella worked together at any point, since Radahn admired his father Radagon who what THE golden order fundamentalist. Of course it's entitirely possible that Radahn admired more the warrior aspect of his father (I need to double-check some descriptions to get a better idea) but given this connection Radahn und Miquella working together did never occour to me since I am quite sure making your very own Erdtree could be considered heresy. I personally always felt like Malenia and Radahn fought because Radahn held back the stars which possibly could hinder Miquella's plans with the eclipse

New to the channel, but I want to posit two things, seeing as we're so far into lore analysis now. 1. Ordina, like Sellia, are from the same age, however Miquella had no involvement in its design. He could craft magic however, and while not making it's Evergaol aspect he could utilise it. 2. Miquella being St Trina is kind of an interesting Gold and Silver intertwining, which we have seen in other aspects of the Golden Order; particularly the Brothers D. But it is also hinting that he was pulled towards the concept of Marika and Radagon, whether he was aware of it or not. 3. The other thing about St Trina, is that the Torch suggests a horrific aspect to her, in an adult woman form. From these things, I determine that Miquella is probably the most dangerous and evil of the Demigods, for it demonstrates that he will utilise even the magical power of faith in others - and love in others which he can compel with the bewitching branches - in order to use the Haligtree not merely to save people. I believe his manipulations are born out of a spite of his body, but also a sense of vengefulness, possibly towards even the Greater Will itself.

Another good video, Justiciar. The Consecrated Snowfield is one of the most puzzling locations in Elden Ring. It’s difficult to know how much of its eccentricity is intentional and how much derived from a late game lack of polish. We find ancestral followers and blue balls capable of summoning dragonskin spirit warriors, but there’s no Noxian or Uhl buildings or structures. The ground above the impact crater in the Anix Tunnel has been infested by the flame of frenzy, similar to the Ailing Village above the crater in the Weeping Peninsula. Why these two and not the other craters? There are Alabaster and Onyx lords in the Anix Tunnel, the only location, I think, containing both races. Also, a consecrated snowfield seems a strange place for an Apostate Derelict church. And what about this snowfield is sacred and to whom? In the catholic tradition, land is consecrated for use as a burial site or the locus of a church. If Ordina was built on consecrated land, that would be unremarkable. But why consecrate the snowfield? Every other province or area in Elden Ring has a definitive vibe and somewhat tangible history. This one’s a total mystery.
@AHumanJusticar
@AHumanJusticar Год назад
I agree, it's difficult to sift through what was intentional and what was merely left behind after scrapped storylines/quests. I never understood the presence of the ghost Dragonskin warriors in the Consecrated Snowfields, and the other one in the Lake of Rot. They're kinda mysterious in there own right.

Has anyone put forth the theory that the relationship between Trina and Mquiella might be similar to the one that Marika has with Radagon? Maybe Miquella saw the gaps in the Golden Order however he also saw the strengths too and wanted a centralized version of the Marika, Radagon and Elden Beast triumvirate. Him being Miquella, Trina and Haligtree. To be clear, I have no idea if it makes any sense but I just saw a parallel and wanted to point it out.
@superrswalkthrougn
@superrswalkthrougn Год назад
That's the parallel I believe as well. Like how Radagon in Marika but Marika isn't Radagon, Miquella is St. Trina but St. Trina isn't Miquella. Marika and Miquella took an aspect of themselves and made them a separate being. Miquella was very fond of his father, it seemed. Maybe he learned how to do it, tho I doubt Radagon *intentionally* taught his son how to do something like that. Considering the amount of cut content about dreams, I do believe Miquella used St. Trina in dreams to help the downdtrodden find hope and show them the path to the haligtree.
