Cool repair 🤷🥲👍🏃👈🙂🤝🙂❤️.... Just wondering.... 🤷🤔.... If you have access to a leaf blower n a shop broom, why dont you just take them to the pathways youre riding on by your house, and blow away any debris and remove fallen branches that way you dont risk the chances of puncturing your tires 😐🤷⚠️🖐️😳🤔🥲👍🏃👈🙂🤝🙂❤️.... Sure would suck after you did all of this work, AND STILL HAVE TO PUSH A 400+LB ATV BACK TO YOUR HOUSE BECAUSE YOURE STRANDED ⚠️😐🤷🤣.... But anyways, great job bringing her back from the ☠️👈🏃🙂🤝🙂❤️👍💯🥲..... This applies to ALL FELLOW MX'ers n ATV'ers 🙂🤝🙂🏃👈❤️👍💯🤷🥲👍
Hello! I am having trouble fitting a wrench or pliers beween the bulb and the electrical fitting in order to get the carb apart. How were you able to do it? I was thinking grinding a wrench down until it fits
Put seafoam in my suzuki 250, ran it for a while, engine seized up. Needed rings anyways. Put very little in there. Self-inflicted wounds the worst. Nice job on rebuild. Thinking of buying a TRX for novice family members.
I usually use it in moderation with fuel to help clean. Also, I'll put a quarter or half can in oil, depending on how much oil the engine holds, right before an oil change. Just let it idle for 5-10 min and it'll give the engine a good clean internally. Have to make sure not to use too much or it'll thin the oil to the point in which it can do damage.
Do you know where the neutral safety switch is located or why my bike would be clicking when starting with a brand new starter and solenoid I’ve tried jumping the starter it dont work but the starter works in another bike Also the neutral light stays on one when in gear thoughts?
Neutral safety is located near the rear of the engine (flywheel side) you'll have to take the engine out of the bike to remove the rear cover to get to it. I believe it's just a switch in there but I haven't messed with one in a long time. Find a service manual online and it'll have a wiring diagram to show you. If you figure out which two or one wire is the switch. Get a meter on resistance and shift the bike and see if the switch opens or closes. You could try jumping it to make the bike think it's in gear That would tell you if it's the engine side or the chassis side.
@@masontanner1834 thank you so much for the help the switch ill figure out another time but i figured out the starter wasnt grounded and i did my test wrong prior so when i doubled back i saw the starter actually did work! so what im thinking since im only hearing a click is that when i replaced the solenoid i put it on backwards so instead of it trying to send power from side a to side b its trying the other way around im gonna check tmr morning and ill post an update
@@masontanner1834 my starter gear is stuck thats the issue took the back plate of the engine off it works but as soon as i bolt it back on it is stuck so i gotta figure that out but at least i know it shouldn’t be ignition
@@masontanner1834 lol i know you probably dont care but i fixed it im so happy last time i heard this bike turn was when me and my dad put a top end on it he passed a little over a year ago
nice video man, my thought is: you bought so much stuff for it plus the labor. Wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy a decent used trailer off the market?
Not when u can source them for free. I have one I got one for free from a family member and it's my kayak trailer now. Then a few years ago someone dumped an old one on my parents property.
@Bustin Feelsgood even if you get it for free, the time alone is gonna make it more expensive than it is worth. Unless your time is also free (when you are a kid for example).
Hey Mason. Great work brother. Remember this always. You have a great niche business there that not a lot of people do but yet a lot need. Offer great quality which you do and at a good price, be honest with your time and expectations and you will grow and awesome business. Keep up the great work.
Well I guess if you have experience dismantling the carb, know the parts of the carb & how they function, then 'doing this' without instructing as you go along , the video is very helpful....but since you didn't SAY what you were doing for 90% of the video but just 'did stuff', not much help for someone trying to follow and learn!
Can I pick your brain? I have same engine on ariens xd 52, turns over but won't crank and stay on. I don't see fuel going thru fuel filter...you think is the carb?
This is gonna sound extremely simple but make sure your tank has plenty of fuel in the tank. If you disconnect your fuel line on the carb and put the hose into a pan and no fuel comes out. Remove the fuel tank cap, maybe a clogged vent (as fuel comes out of the tank air has to go in it to make up for the displacement to not cause a vacuum in the tank) Removed the fuel filter, fuel will come out the line after it's taken off if it is clogged. Some mowers have a fuel shut off usually a little red lever just follow your lines to the tank and you'll see it if it has one. Next, take the line off the tank and see if fuel comes out of the tank that will tell you if it's inside the tank or the line stopped up. Depending on how the fuel system is designed most mowers have a fuel pump with is a diaphragm style pump ran off a vacuum by the intake of the engine. If yours does have this little round or square block with three lines going to it those are a little more complex to diagnose but not hard at all if done right. If you have fuel going to the carb then it's either your float a stopped up jet or no spark. An engine needs three things fuel compression and spark once you have those three we have the horsepower. Just let me know if you need any other help, also you are not gonna see fuel actively going through the fuel filter anyway not enough flow.
May I ask a question how much approximately did this all cost my trailer has been in salt water and I think I probably we need to do all of this Edit: And if can could u name the stuff I need I’m new to this rebuilding trailers
@The N4th Most of it can be found online or if you happen to have a trailer store for parts locally. I use this website for most of my parts www.boattrailerparts.com/ Almost all of it is universal parts, bearings and hubs, the axle hardware, springs, and bunk brackets. Depending on what kind of axle you have and how much weight your ski is will determine what type of hardware and tires you'll need to use. The jacks, wench, and safety chains can be found at Walmart for a good price. On the bunks, if you redo those make sure you use stainless stapes and pressure-treated wood or it won't last. As well as on the hubs make sure you get the correct bearing sizes. The store you buy them from should be able to explain how to install them just make sure you put the lock back on the bolt so your hub doesn't fall off going down the road.
@@masontanner1834 my leaf spring is the same as yours I’m looking at it and it says in the description (1x eye and 1x slipper) (2x width x27 length) (31 overall) is this the one I need it say it’s a (3 leaf) and says max 1000kg/axel but there is another one with the same pics and it says leaf 2 with the exact description but says max 750kg/axle Edit: it has a pic on the website the top one has 3 but the bottom has 4 Or you could tell me which one is yours should of asked u that is the first place 😂 but oh well 😂
