Hola! Me llamo Kari!
Muchisimas gracias!!!!

Can you share the brand name of your hook and name of the yarn? I just started and ordered a beginner's kit from Amazon but I think I need a better hook. Thank you!!
I used leftover red heart super saver yarn for this one. The hook , I honestly bought so long ago that I'm not sure about the brand. If you're not happy with your hook, try buying one at hobby lobby. That way, you can try it right away, and if you don't like it, you can return it.
Muchas gracias! 👍🥰
Hi Mam good morning thank you so much for this lovely video one question mam have you used crochet thread or wool please let me know thank you once again ❤
Muchas gracias!
Muchas gracias.
Intenta con este link. Espero funcione! 🤞 froggingalong.files.wordpress.com/2014/11/cupcozyblanktemplate.pdf La descarga es automática, y a mi si me funcionó.
Just a tip for next time: Maybe just go a tad bit slower. While trying to make this there were a few steps I missed. But other than that this is a very cute idea and I love the book mark!❤
Been there!!! 😔 Make sure you always count your stitches at the end of each round in order to catch any mistakes. Sometimes, when we work in the round, we might accidentally skip the last stitch, thinking it's the first one . That's one possibility. The best thing to do is always count your stitches so you can catch your mistake just in time to correct it. Hope this helps 🥰👍
For anyone wondering, I got a beautiful 3 weight yarn that I wanted to use. I did a beginning chain of 45 and did 20 rows and it was the perfect size for my husbands Oakley’s
Also if youre making them for iced coffee keep the pattern the same but if youre making it for hot coffee cups and want to extend the width, make sure to use a smaller hook size for the starting chains and starting sc. Wider version slid right off the hot coffee cup lol
It would be nice if you could tell us how to make the alpine stitch wider instead of telling us to just do more sc. I cant figure it out and this is way too short.
The thing is, you can't make the stitch itself wider. You can only make more of them to accommodate the size you need. If the cozy is too short, you need to work more rows until you get to the height you want. If it's not fitting around your cup and it's too tight, just add more chains in your foundation to reach the width you need. Measuring the foundation chain around the cup before any work is done is key to making sure it fits for you. The tutorial size is a basic example but not a universal size. Thank you for watching! ❤️
You can add one more row of alpine stitches by instead of doing the 2 sc rows at the end just work one and repeat row 5 alternating the regular double and back post doubles. Then just finish off like in the tutorial with 2 rows of sc.
Well, the thing about this stitch is that it's worked in rows, crocheting front and back in order to get that texture. If you do it in the round, I suppose you could turn the work as you would in rows, but I'm not sure if that would work the same. If you try it, please let me know if it worked for you! Give it a go! 🥰👍
Thank you much for this tutorial! I enjoyed listening to your calm teaching voice with a hint of humor. 😉Is there anyway you could give a printed pattern for future use? My phone is the only way I have to watch and that gets a little difficult for an old lady like me. I'm hoping to have my granddaughter print it out for me also I can keep making this for all!
Hi there. If you need a larger size, you could always do one more increase round. In the video, I stopped increasing on the repeat of 3 v- stitch clusters 1 increase. You could do the next round by working 4 stitches to 1 increase and see if that gets you the size you need. If it's too big, maybe try working 6 stitches to 1 increase. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching 🥰
